Aquascape88006 PRO Economy Compact Water Fill Valve, Gray/White

So far so good. I placed this on my fountain and hooked to my main drip line. Pretty simple to install. It comes with various adapters for a variety of fill options. So far it is working great. I purchased another for an older fountain that we have to keep refilling.

This is an excellent product for Aquascape skimmers because of its small size that allows for plenty of room for the mesh bag and pump fittings. It was easy to install and adjust to maintain the required water level. An outstanding feature was the provision of the fittings needed for three different water supply connection methods so the customer did not have to search pound supply stores for the plumbing hardware needed.Thanks to the shipper's expeditious service, the shipment arrived in excellent condition on the anticipated delivery date.

The install went fine, but the valve leaked even when the float was all the way up. Without going through all the trial and error, I will just tell what worked - put a pressure reducer on the feed line (15 lbs I think, like the ones used for drip irrigation systems). It has been working fine since then.

It’s just what I needed to replace my fill valve and saved 300.00 on having someone else do it. This set gave me different options to choise from to get the job done.

Like the design overall. It replaces a prior one in use of the same type. The float broke off the old one, so we re-ordered its replacement. Easy install, but when the water was connected, it didn't shut off the water. My workaround was to glue something floaty to the end of the plastic float.

This is a great water fill valve for my pondless waterfall. I previously had another type of valve, which kept breaking. My plumber recommended this type and installed it this spring. Works well and being compact, it fits easily within the box..

We purchased this fill valve unit to go in our Aquascape 30x30 fountain basin (Aquascape 78223 AqauBasin 30 Fountain and Water Feature Basin - $235). We intended to connect the water fill valve into the fountain basin via a separate line on our PVC sprinkler system so the basin would auto-fill as needed. When the fill valve arrived, the white plastic float was cracked right out of the package. We had already installed (PVC cemented) one part into the basin when we discovered the float was cracked. We attempted to contact Aquascape to see if they would simply send us a replacement float as we didn't want to uninstall the part on the basin and figured after spending almost $300 with their co, they would be happy to assist. After no response trying to call Aquascape and no response to an e-mail to customer support we contacted Amazon and they promptly sent us an entire new set with the understanding we would return the unused parts along with the defective float. We installed the new float and as someone else mentioned in a review, the float was not enough to shut off the water. We had several times where we found our basin had overflown. We ended up trying a suggestion from another reviewer and attached another float to the Aquascape float. We wired on an old float from a GoPro case. This solved the problem immediately. The float that comes with this unit was not enough to activate the shut off valve. Based on this experience, we would NOT recommend this product, and are NOT satisfied with customer service from Aquascape. Thanks to Amazon for their awesome customer support!
