First off read the sizing instructions so you don't get the wrong size. It states that these hats run one size smaller than what you would normally wear. I wear a 7 1/8 hat(22 inches skull circumference with a tailors tape measure) I ordered a large. The fit is perfect. If you have a larger head (look in the mirror, ask a friend) order XL or XXXL. GET ONE SIZE LARGER THAN YOU WOULD NORMALLY GET. That being said, the quality of this trapper hat is superb. You will not be disappointed in the materials. The lining is quilted, the wool outer shell is fantastic, and the FUR IS REAL! Wearing this hat instantly makes you an expert on any subject outdoors.

Gift for my son,an avid outdoor person.I have one myself that I bought 5 years ago.Still looks as good as new and definitely the warmest hat one could ever have !
