Works great, easy to clean, easy to use
I've ran close to 40lbs through it and its been great. Its easy to set up, air release valve works, well built, and solid. So much faster than using my grinder to fill casings and a lot less hassle. It has a long horn so you can slide a huge amount of casing on it.

This machine is amazing!
If you are doing more than a few sausages at home, you need this machine. My girlfriend has started making sausages which she was stuffing by hand. (Don't ask). I bought the sausage stuffing attachment for my KitchenAid mixer which was a boon. But that attachment is not meant to do any any appreciable quantity really. I'm a big guy and I do labor work but trying to do any more than 5 pounds of meat with that attachment is taxing. So I started looking and found the Hakka. I set the machine up for her and she did 10 pounds of sausages by herself. Together, we're doing 20 pounds at a time now.The machine is very easy to set up because it comes assembled. Just a few pieces to screw on and you're ready to go.There are two speeds, but I only use the low speed gear. The barrel just isn't so tall that it needs a high speed gear in my opinion. Plus, the 3 pound capacity means you aren't having to reload every 3 seconds anyway. The parts that come into contact with the meat all disassemble completely for easy cleaning.I'm trying to play the devil's advocate and come up with a con to the machine but there are none. Everything from the easy setup to usage to cleaning is awesome.Very highly recommended!

mostly great little sausage stuffer but would be nicer if it included the 10mm tube.
it's a quality-built stuffer, my only complaint would be that it doesn't come with the 3/8 (10mm) stuffing tube and it's an additional 17 bucks from Amazon. you have to have the small tube for snack sticks, otherwise it's a great stuffer. the included horns are stainless, and long so they allow for plenty of casing to be loaded on them and are easy to clean.

Ludicrous value.. I wasn't expecting it to be this nice.
Extremely high quality. Very much a commercial tool, and easy to clean.I work in a commercial kitchen and I'm used to items like this costing considerable amounts of money.I'm really glad I purchased this one over the LEM. The cost difference was quite a lot.I'm also quite pleased I didn't go for the larger size.. The unit is pretty enormous for home use.. I'm not sure I have a cabinet large enough to store it. (it lives on a shelf in the garage, as it stands nearly 3 feet tall if you store it with the plunger not compressed in the container).I figured with the higher speed to reset it, it would be no trouble to reload anyway, should I have very large batches to get through. (As it turns out I never use the second speed. It requires much more force to turn it, the low speed is no big deal to rewind for reloading anyway and changing the handle over makes it more hassle than it's worth while your hands are gross from sausage making).I really like how the pieces can be stored inside the machine as well. I might find a breathable bag to hold them so they don't ding up the inside.Extremely pleased.*Edit*Now I've used it three times over the past few months, I noticed after bringing it in from the garage that it had a few rust spots on the frame, which suggests the frame isn't stainless, only the container is.A little disappointing. I'm going to try treating it with mineral oil and see how we go.. Could be worse. Still very good value, and works great.

Wow, Great Stuffer
This is my first vertical stuffer, and it's an amazing product. Once it's clamped down, you can turn out pounds upon pounds of sausage. The gear action is extremely smooth and easily controllable by hand. It's a high quality product with excellent materials and build quality, and even the welds are nice and clean. We would definitely purchase again.

It is awesome! I bought the last of the hog casings ...
I read ALL of the reviews for this sausage stuffer before I ordered it for my Christmas gift. With the reviews I figured it was probably ok. It is awesome! I bought the last of the hog casings at the local meat counter and wound up with a bunch of short pieces. With this stuffer you find yourself wanting LONG casings so you can just keep turning the handle. It is heavy; the 3L unit weighs 20 lbs, shipping weight 22lbs. It does not need to be bolted to a surface as its weight keeps it in one place. It seems to be very high quality and a great value for the money.Clean up is very easy as the key parts are easy to remove and a quick scrub in soapy water and a hot rinse cleans them right up.I used food grade grease to lube the nut for the stuffing horn to make it easier to start the nut. BTW, even the nut is HEAVY. The stuffer comes with four stainless steel horns which makes it very flexible for different size sausages. What a pleasure to use. Get one, you won't be disappointed.

Straightforward to use and clean
Nicely polished stainless steel- but not just nice to look at - this substantial machine does its intended job well. Large capacity canister is removable for filling and cleaning. Two crank connections allow for fine control for dispensing and rapid retract when done.Polymer seal does good job of scraping sides as it dispenses. Multiple tube sizes included. Everything that comes in contact with sausage is removable for cleaning.Might be nice to have long handled tool for pushing last bit through the tube. Otherwise very nice piece of equipment

Fantastic quality for the price
15 pounds through the stuffer so far. Very impressed, quality is far better than I expected. Easy to clean, stainless seems high quality, and very sturdy. One of my better Amazon purchases for sure.
