We've had these for close to 3 years now and they continue to work great. They turn on when it's dark... off when there's light. I appreciate that if I have to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, I don't have to turn on a light (I don't want to wake up anymore than I have to in the middle of the night).

Great path light if you are lucky to have outlets along your path. Directional light was more handy than I thought. As a light light it creates ambient light instead of an annoying point of light in the dark. As directional light I can determine if the light shines up or down depending how low the outlet is. That's possible because the prongs are not polarized so you could flip it around. If you have horizontally mounted outlets this is NOT for you because the light will shine left or right. Might work if you don't mind that. If they update this product it would be nice to be able to rotate it for horizontal outlets or just tweaking the angle just so. The intensity of the light varies depending on the ambient light. There's not much on the inside of these things. The pictured one popped open having fallen on tiled floor. After 3 months 1 of the 4 burned out. It was warm and had a burnt smell. It was not the one that popped open. This has no motion sensing so didn't rate that metric. Good buy so far despite one burning out. May change this review if more burn out.

First off, I need to say that they wanted me to leave a star rating on the motion detection. There is no motion detection! It has an ambient light sensor. When there is ample light available they are to turn themselves off.I've tried other night lights that have the same feature and they did not all perform as well as these did for me. You only need the light when you NEED the light! These did a whole lot better than others I tried. The ambient light sensor should not be any more or less sensitive than the amount of light that the unit produces. The light should turn itself off when it no longer serves a purpose.Directing you to the included photos, which were taken with an actual camera (instead of some stupid phone, which in no way is any sort of a camera). These photos will depict a more accurate display of what kind of light these produce.I have one in each bathroom and they produce enough light to "hit the pot" in the middle of the night and even see your reflection in the mirror to check your hair if you want to. I also have them strategically placed around the house where it is very easy to navigate your way around in the dark without having to turn on any other higher wattage lighting.The other two photos are in the kitchen and the dog's feeding area. Now this is cool... I can feed the dog and I don't have to keep the kitchen light on for him while he chows down. Plus it lights up one of the pathways to the kitchen. Another cool thing is that when I open the refrigerator, the sensors are so sensitive to the amount of light they produce that they fade out from the refrigerator light coming on and come back when I close it. "Nice!"I can't say enough about them. They are working out beautifully for me and I would hope they will do others just as much "justice" as I am experiencing.Very nice purchase for me and I am navigating a pitch black house in the darkness for less than a mere 10 watts of electrical consumption. Like I said. This is a review that I am more than thrilled to make. I have only a couple of days experience with these and I cannot offer an opinion on longevity. But I would guess that if they perform this well and are LED... they are probably fantastic in that respect as well.

It works but is too sensitive when I have my lamp across the room on it won't turn on I ended up putting some tape on the sensor to prevent the light from flickering when my lamp is on wish I could adjust the sensitivity

They work perfectly and give enough light to make walking through adark room or hall easy. Best I've tried. So much better than the bulb lights,which burn out easily.

These really give off a bright light. Great for lining my walkway and perimeter of my rooms

I bought these lights in October 2021. I was slightly skeptical but decided to try them based on all of the good reviews. I needed night lights everywhere. They shipped quickly and I plugged them in as soon as I got them. They worked great so I immediately ordered another batch. I have them all over the place. They are bright enough to see where you are going and what you are doing at night. They turn on by themselves as soon as it gets dark enough near where they are, and then they turn off when it’s bright enough. They have now all lasted until February 2023, so a year and four months. I highly recommend them!

Hoped it was brighter
