This is not a cheap product but it is worth every penny to know you have a safe hygienic everyday item that will be long lasting unlike most chopping boards . It's very scary when you know what lurks in most peoples chopping boards.

We expected the board to be flexible but it is rigid. As a chopping board it is ok but quite noisy and echoy when you chop on it so not what we expected. We have passed it on to our son.

I could not find the exact size I wanted anywhere so I ordered the larger size and cut it down to perfection. Easy to do with a FINE tooth hand saw and a sander. Now I have one for the boat as well! This is a high quality cutting board with a few watch outs. It is heavier than most small cutting boards. A larger size might be tough to handle when cleaning. I did see it is NOT dishwasher safe (not an issue for me but for some it could be for some). I have had it for some time now and it still has a distinct “plastic/chemical” smell. The smell does not transfer to food items but does fill the cabinet space where it is stored. It is easily resurface with a light sanding. Love this thing!

This is my first rubber cutting board and my first non plastic like material cutting voard. The cutting board is great but maybe the rubber is to soft. I've used it for about week and there are bunch permanent cut marks all over the Board. I'm not sure if it's a problem, but I do understand cut marks are sometimes a sign that you have a sharp knife and that the board is doing its job is extending the sharpness lifespan. Still, I didn't expect marks to appear so soon. Another thing to note is that this board stains very easily or maybe I just don't know what I can or cannot use on it. I know sanding is a option in the future but I have no idea when it should be necessary. It says it's antibacterial but does that still stand with how easily cuts are produced? I have no idea ..Overall, I gave this a 4 star only because I hope that my negative comments are actually normal behaviors and not a problem with the product itself.

I bought this after taking a couple cooking classes and noticing the chef teaching the class used it. I'd been using a couple Oxo cutting boards and decided to upgrade, and I'm very happy I did.I use my cutting board a couple times a day and it's held up very well. The natural surface is great for my knives and makes less noise than the hard plastic. Last, it cleans up easier than wooden boards.The only proviso - it's heavy, so if you struggle with hand strength you'll need to use two hands to move it.

The board smells really bad like sweaty socks. also if you put hot meat like a steak on there, it damages the board, slightly melts the surface. if you drop it, it dents immediately. not durable at all.

I bought this cutting board as a housewarming gift, and thought I'd get myself one. I should have fully read the reviews with other customers saying that it warps. I only used it 2 times and it lost shape immediately! For this hefty price, it is not worth it! I will be trying the Japanese version of this cutting board that other customers reccommended.
