Colors, ABC, Numbers

Oh my goodness! This book is GREAT! First of all, I really wasn't expecting this book to be so big and vibrant. I admittedly did not check out the book's dimensions, so I assumed it would be a smaller book like most others. However, this book is very big (like around 12x12), and really grabs baby's/toddler's attention! The pictures are wonderful as well. They are colorful, vibrant, and there are SO many to look at! My 14 month old learned several new words in a matter of a week just from this book alone! We started by just pointing and saying the words with my son, and have now advanced to "can you point to the...," and he will point to the picture of the word as well as repeat the word. My son comes running up with this book several times a day wanting us to read it. I can see this book being a valuable tool for a while as well, because not only is it a good book for learning first words, but it also teaches so many other things as well. ABCs, numbers, shapes, colors, etc.. Just to name a few. The book is also very well made and durable! This is a MUST if your toddler is anything like mine! Most books do not withstand his roughness, but this one sure does. Bottom line: this book is AMAZING, and I do not believe that it will disappoint. It has been, and will continue to be, a valuable learning tool for my toddler.

My 9-month-old grandson loved this book the second he saw it. I'd have to say it's his favorite book right now. This is a really big board book, and he seemed to like that he had the 'power' to open and close the big pages. He babbled a lot while sitting on my lap playing with this book and looking at the pictures. This book gives you a lot to talk about with a child while reading it together--animals, numbers, colors, common first words, and it has a lot of bright, detailed pictures a child would enjoy sitting and examining on their own. I can picture a child spending a lot of time with this book, and the big, clear, double-page spreads for counting, colors, shapes, etc., make it easy for a child to absorb these concepts. I think this book would make an ideal baby shower gift or first birthday or first Christmas gift.

I love the size of this book it seems to catch my sons interest alone. He is going on 2 soon and is able to carry it with no problem. He likes to flip through it and loves the first page with the common first words. If I have to knock it for anything I wish the shapes page stood out more. Some of the shapes are white and not colored. The page next to the shapes is unnecessary. Children will not notice early on that a cut sandwich is shaped like a triangle. I think the shapes could have been stretched over the course of the two pages instead. But very wonderful nonetheless. I also wish the ABC page wasn’t so busy. My son would have loved to see the alphabet letters alone maybe with a small picture beside it... but I think it’s great and educational, very bright, a little busy but that’s ok as long as your child is learning.

Bought as a gift for my niece. Binder was a little ripped and had a scratch on front but they easily sent a new one. I honestly believe it was from shipping because they were both in the same general area and the package had A little tear. As for the book itself, perfect for learning kids. They use real pictures, the pictures are big. It makes sense and my niece loves it! She’s obsessed with learning. I’ll be looking at other books from this brand!!

My toddler absolutely adores this book! It's a large, sturdy board book filled with vibrant colors that instantly grab her attention. She's learning so much from the engaging pictures, letters, and numbers. Piddy Books has quickly become a favorite in our household!

I want to start off by saying I LOVE this book, it is so colorful and fun, and really catches my 2yr old's attention. She is constantly bringing it to us to look at with her. The only thing that I don't care for in this book is that the pages are a bit "busy" so sometimes I can tell my daughter is a little overwhelmed and doesn't know what to look at. For the most part, though, she can handle looking at this book for about 10-15mins at a time. She has speech delay and has been seeing a speech therapist. This is the first book (or anything for that matter) where we can get her to repeat what we say when we are reading through the book. She repeats the "ABCs" and has been identifying the objects on the first two pages. This book has definitely helped us to help her learn.

I have been buying more books for my toddler and this one is his favorite! It has bright and vivid colors, large board book and very attractive! My son surprises me with his vocabulary words and spelling he learned from this book! Very ideal for toddlers! The only drawback is the arrangement of the alphabet in upper case letters. My child likes to read in horizontal manner for the alphabet but somehow he gets lost in the arrangement of the alphabet in this book like: ABOPQ, CDERST, EGHUVW, IJKXYZ, LMN which is not good! It should be ABCDEFGH across like the arrangement of the rainbow color. Despite that, my son learned a lot especially the spelling! He's so smart now! Thanks to this book! I paid full price on this book for my child.

Daughter loves it

We had this book for our kids, but now buy it as a gift for all our new parent friends. It has so many great lessons: colours, times, shapes, letters etc etc. it’s a beautiful board book with lots of great pictures for babies/toddlers. Absolute must have.
