Great gift idea

My girlfriend was playing with a similar item at a farmers market so I thought I’d gift her one. Learning how to play is a work in progress but the item itself is really well built. It’s very light and ergonomic and the sound comes through louder than expected. I don’t know much about these types of instruments but it is definitely quality built.

Beautiful instrument that brings me relaxation and calmness. I have never learned how to play an instrument before. This instrument is pretty beginner friendly. I followed numbered musical notation and was able to learn play a song with it quick.

Beautiful instrument. Very well made & the sound is just perfect. Does not need any tuning. Can be played straight out of the box. Wood itself is a piece of art. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!

This Kalimba is very well made, didn't need any tuning at all. Tunes are all accurate out of the box.

It is my first kalimba.It did need to be tuned. Note the the more you go towards the edges while tuning, the more sensitive the metals are. So a little tiny hit on the edge , or a couple, would get that perfect positioning, otherwise ur gone too far easily.From research koa wood gives a nice deep sound. The sound is deep on this unit. It may be deeper should it have been thicker, I am not sure. Higher pay grades do weigh a kilo, this unit is around half a kilo.Kids will pick up tunes or find favorite song tunes very fast on this, as in: same day quick.I have decided to keep it as great practice and sound, and do plan down the road to get a heavier one and see how it sounds.

This Kalimba sounds great.... I have been having fun with it, since I got it. I am quite amazed with the sound quality. Unfortunately, it was missing the tuning hammer.... and Amazon was happy to let me send it back and get a refund if I wanted, and the seller said I could request a replacement... but, I was having so much fun with it, I decided to just keep it as is, and I will just get a hammer separately, at a future time... not a big deal.

Like the size and the sound as it is very pleasant. I wanted a simple instrument that would help with dexterity and also playing an instrument is good for your brain and memory.

Absolutely love this!!! So much better than I expected and my little girl loves it. It's beautiful and not annoying at all 🤗 the price point was also the best that I had found.

This kalimba produces a good volume of clear and pretty tones. It is comfortable to hold and easy to enjoy.
