ART ANIMAL STENCILS Color By Number: Activity Coloring Book for Adults Relaxation and Stress Relief

I decided to get this coloring book because I wanted to try something different from the regular coloring I have been doing.I have only colored one page so far but it has taken some getting used to. The color selections are already chosen for you and are identified by their individual numbers. The numbers are very light in print given on the images themselves.I highly recommend putting another sheet of paper behind the page you are coloring to prevent bleeding through. I found it does bleed through with sharpies and more heavier markers. Mediums like colored pencils and gel pens should be fine otherwise.Some of the pages have a white background while other pages have a black background.There are no duplicates or repeated images given in this book. So make your color selection carefully because you only have one opportunity to color that particular image.On one hand, I found this coloring experience to be refreshing and unique. But I also found it to be somewhat frustrating because you need to have the right shade of the color suggested. Some of the colors recommended to use are straight forward colors like red, orange, green, blue, and so forth. But some colors recommended are different variations of colors like red orange, yellow green, aqua blue, and so forth. It took some time for me to come up with the correct color.A huge positive though, is you use the same color palette for all the images provided. Once you have mastered which colors to use, it should be easier to get into the swing of things.In addition, there are a variety of different animals to choose from in this book. A few samples from Sunlife Drawing's other books are provided in the back of the book along with 2 extra blank pages for color testing.Furthermore, I would definitely recommend this coloring book for both beginners or more advanced coloring enthusiasts. It's been interesting to try a different coloring technique and I plan on doing more.

Love it! Love it! Love it! I ordered many coloring books by color by numbers. My favorite are this one, "animal stencils" and "mosaic black edition*. I really like the black background because it makes the picture look even better...I also like the fact that they some alternate between white and black background. So it doesn't seem repetitive. This book is even greater because the white background is not completely white...not sure how to explain but it makes the pictures look great and I enjoy the process even better...I wish the company could do more coloring books like this one. I would buy all of them. I'm planning on trying the other coloring books from this company

This book is amazing. I’ve purchased many other books but this is by far the one I like the most. I use colored pencils and the 22 color pallet is the same ones as other books I have which is a great time saver. I highly recommend this book.

This book is even better in person. A friend recommended this one to me. I am not disappointed. Absolutely beautiful!

Absolutely love every book that Sunlife Drawing releases. If you love coloring look them up. They release amazing books that I have purchased many copies of each book released.

This is a great book to color--I like the black pages--and ALL the pictures are great--you will enjoy coloring-------

Sunlife Drawing is known for a wide variety of coloring books, including art and animal stencil books like this one which is also a color by number book. Great for those that do not like to choose colors but instead to have them chosen for you. Pictures alternate with white backgrounds and black backgrounds. All pages are black on the backside which helps (but does not prevent) bleeding from alcohol markers. Please place protection behind the page you are coloring. Pages are single sided. I always leave 5 star reviews but this time, sorry to say, am deducting 1 point. The numbers in the drawings are very hard for me to see. Sunlife may have lightened them due to requests from colorists who prefered the printed numbers not to show beneath their coloring. However, even with me using markers in the picture I am uploading with this review, the printed numbers still show through. While coloring in this book, however, with the numbers being difficult for me to see....it takes me longer to pick the correct colors.

I bought this book based on the other positive reviews it's had & I have to say it didn't disappoint. Lovely pictures to colour and nice choice of colours to use. I like the fact they have put sample pages at the back of the book of the other books they sell, so you can give them a try before buying. Will definitely buy another from this series. Highly recommend.
