I liked the idea, but I need more guidance on how much to take each day--either a scoop enclosed or info on tsp equivalence. The package was smaller than I expected, so I figure a little goes a long way, but I am not sure, and I believe I am guessing on my dosage.

Baggie doesn’t seal easily, and it’s not very easy to measure. Also a VERY small amount.

B/f I ordered this vit A powdered I read the seller's product description. It says this: "100% PURE, VEGAN, NON-GMO: This 100% pure powder is free of fillers and is also free from dairy, gluten, and soy. "So from the description I concluded: free of fillers means there is nothing else except of the vit A. The product arrived today. I cut the bag open and then I noticed it says it contains dextrin! Dextrin is a sugar which causes ppl with gastrointestinal problems HELL ON EARTH!!! I shouldn't have believed the seller's word, I should have read the description on the bag. (Btw, 74% of the US population has gastrointestinal problems! I am not the only one!)I have also been suffering from Candida yeast overgrowth (white coating of tongue, which is contagious, so you shouldn't kiss anyone). I have been on Candida Diet for several months now, doing really good (cut out sugar, alcohol, soft drinks, dairy, grains, beans, fruits), taking L-glutamine powder under the tongue to stop sugar cravings. I put a microscopic amount of this vit A powder on my tongue thinking I will test it, maybe the gastrointestinal problems will not be so bad? After a few minutes my mouth felt strange so I checked my tongue in the mirror and OMG, it was all white, the Candida was back! When Candida, which feeds on sugar, metabolizes the sugar, it releases toxins, making its host sick. I immediately scrubbed the tongue with baking soda and coconut oil, and gargled with DMSO (Candida really hates DMSO). So this product is definitely not for me, I just wasted ten bucks (what I paid for this vit A powder).

This is not a review, per se, but just a response to a negative review from a candida sufferer. I think the concern about the dextrin in this product is an overreaction. The amount of dextrin in this or any other drive vitamin A palmitate product is quite small, and I'm sure that most candida sufferers are taking much more significant amounts of hidden sugar in their diet.

I love the taste of vitamin A in powder form. It's a real bargain. And, it can be added to your favorite oil or lotion to give you a retinol cream. This is an excellent product.
