Simple but brilliant! A real back-saver!
When I first opened the package, I was very skeptical about how useful such a simple item would be. It's a real no-brainer to put the three straps together at the desired distance for whatever bulky item you're about to break your back with otherwise. Worked beautifully for bringing a dresser up one flight of stairs today. I couldn't believe how quickly the task went. The straps have absolutely no frills-- and they have potential to dig into your neck a little bit-- but, the price is right! And, by the time I noticed that the straps were digging in a tiny bit, the job was done. Highly recommended for regularly-shaped bulky items. (I'm not sure I'd want to use these straps for moving a grand piano-- but why would you do that anyway?!)

Very good item, would reccomend
I recently relocated and wanted to move some of the furniture myself, like the beds, couches, kitchen tables, etc. I have seen professional movers use straps, so saw these online after some research. Best money I ever spent. It's not so much that these items are heavy, though a few of them were, but that they are bulky and have no handholds. They are easily adjustable and work as advertised, making easy work of moving bulky items up and down many steps (I have 3 stories in my apartment). The big plus, is that it makes navigating bulky items around corners and through doorways much easier, as you have total control of the load. We used the "criss cross" method.

Solid Straps That Make Moving Easier
Picked these up for moving some heavy stuff and they worked really well. They feel well made and sturdy, not something you’re worried about snapping mid-lift. Made it a lot easier to move heavier items without completely wrecking your back. Once you get the hang of using them, they make a big difference. Overall, good quality and definitely worth having for moving jobs.

TeamStrap Works
I was skeptical about this strap setup and read all the reviews covering its use. I bought one in time for a move and I must say that I am tickled that I purchased it to really give it a shake-down. It was such a pleasure to use on furniture like bookcases, desks, china hutch and small piano . These were the biggest items I had to move and it worked well with them. What it had problems with were odd shaped or smaller sized items like 30 gallon flower pots or a 50 lb cube shaped safe. There is not enough surface area for the strap to hold it in a stable manner. It was moved with the strap but you just had to hold it still and it was very awkward and unstable. Would have used it on a washer/dryer but a friend used their hand truck instead. I did not have a chance to it on that appliance- maybe next time. I thought about buying the version that uses the forearms but I prefer the use of the criss-cross strap arrangement over the shoulders which is somewhat like suspenders. I think that is designed to handle more weight but I cannot say that for sure since I bought this one instead. Otherwise, I am so glad I had it for our move and would buy another one on a heartbeat.

Good for some, not for others. Depends on your needs
I was a bit torn on whether I liked this product or not. It does work, and is one of the cheaper and simpler of these types of products, but often more hassle than it is worth. When you get the furniture on the moving strap, and are on level ground, it is the simple case of balancing horizontally. Its a bit more complicated on stairs. This strap was not helpful in an apt style staircase (what we moved out of), and only slightly better on a more spacious house staircase (what we moved into). It was not helpful with many types of furniture such as a dresser or bookshelf. We only found it useful to move our four couches, everything else we tried we ended up carrying ourselves. All and all I was willing to use it a lot more than the guy helping me, he didn't like it and so we didn't use it long. He has a tall slender frame, and found that the shoulder straps wanted to slip off constantly. Not so much when moving the furniture, but right before standing up to lift the furniture. Because of the type of furniture this is useful for, you will only find yourself using it a couple times a move. I would recommend this for ppl who are older or lack the strength needed to carry some furniture, move a LOT, and/or have a need to carry the furniture a decent distance on level ground. I would also recommend this for people with patience, as this will undoubtedly slow down your moving process. That is, of course, a small price to pay to avoid an injury. I would also recommend two changes to the manufacturer. One, have another short setting. We found the shortest setting still too long for anything smaller than a small couch. Two, some easy way to tie up or secure the slack rope when the moving straps are on a short setting. Currently, it drags on the ground and is a MASSIVE tripping hazard. I gave it 3 stars because it is good for some moving, and is reasonably priced. It lacks refinement, and the ability to be used on a variety of furniture items and moving environments.

A must have for HEAVY items...
I purchased this with the hope that I could use it to move my fish tank. My tank is 394 lbs. empty, and it's 6 ft. long. Our original move of it required 4 guys working in coordination, using suction cups, and it wasn't easy. I bought teamstraps on blind faith, because it was worth a shot for $20, given that it's weight rating was up to 650lbs. This time, the move was even easier, and it was only myself and one friend! Putting on the straps was a cinch, and We were able to move the 6ft 394lb tank outside and around the house, in through the front door to its showplace. I couldn't believe how much easier it was this time. My back was a tiny bit sore afterwards, but for two guys to be able to move such a heavy item, it was hardly any ache at all... May be one of the best $20 I've every spent. Now I still can use it for other things if needed! I highly recommend this if you're planning on moving somthing large; it will spare your back muscles from bending over to lift...

Really works.
We had to move a very heavy treadmill out of our old home, into a POD, and then into our new home. Both moves included going down some steps, and the shape of the treadmill made it very awkward to lift by hands, it just wasn't going to be possible. I was thinking of renting an appliance dolly on both ends of the move until I came across these straps. I am a pretty big guys 6' 215lbs, but my assistant not so much, together with these straps we were able to navigate the challenge with surprisingly little effort. It was very easy to setup, and the awkward shape of the treadmill was helped with a third person spotting and helping balance the load. The straps themselves are made from a heavy duty nylon, with good stitching. I can see there being an issue if the two operators are of much different heights. Straps were cheaper than renting a dolly twice, and they are forever in my arsenal to use again.

A handy device to help you with your move.
I first seen this device on a TV ad. It made moving furniture look easy for even for small adults. Well, the product does work, albeit with more physical effort than advertised on the commercial. With the help of my wife, I was able to move 200 to 400 pound pieces of furniture around with much more ease than if we were just to handle them without the assistance of any type of strap. Where the product becomes very difficult to use is when you carry large items down flights of stairs. Still, going down the stairs was easier with the strap then without. The straps themselves are very simple looking and do not appear strong enough to handle anything close to it's stated capacity. So far, they have held up fairly well. I will admit, though, that my back does ache a bit from all the heavy lifting that my wife and I have done. I think my back would be in even worse shape if I did not have the assistance of these lifting straps.
