Good growth
I tilled 3 areas in the woods. Good soil. Two of the splots had good sun for about 6 hours of the day and I have a great crop. The 3rd area had almost no sun, the crop is pretty sparse there.

Great product
Can not bait in this state so this brings the deer in. Put out a month before archery season starts.

So far so great!
Most reviews were positive, ad stated it would grow in limited light conditions, and I was familiar with the brand. I bought the smallest bag as an experiment. Raked leaves down a slight slope, scattered seeds by hand on Sep 8th (about 500 sq ft). Lightly watered three times in two days hoping the seeds wouldn't wash away when Irma's rains hit us.This spot gets no direct sunlight, much to my delight sprouts were showing in four days. It was raining or cloudy six days straight after sowing. My Kojak Brownie can't take pics that well, the pic shown was today (10 days later) with my little helper. Now I'm going to plant some a little deeper in the woods, still very little sunlight, and will use some lime as suggested on the package. I still have a little time according to the region map (Kentucky).Even though my 'secret spot' plots will be quite small, if deer are attracted and stop for a bite I'll give this product 10 stars.Update 9-26-17--Scattered lime on plot and watered every couple days if not raining. It's growing quickly. Deeper in the woods, using an infamous garden weasel, I broke a small spot on 9-22-17 (4 days ago), turned lime into it, and sowed seed. Lightly watered immediately and two days later. It is coming up very strong. Still 4 stars until I find out if deer will like it, but so far so good!.In hindsight I wish I'd planted a couple weeks earlier. If you are south of central KY get yours planted ASAP.

Very Forgiving Product
We did not do any of the recommended soil sampling to plant this product, but we followed the directions for fertilizing and Lyme. Very forgiving product that still grew awesome. Only thing that caught my attention was that it says that it will grow even in "Swampy Conditions" or "Marshy wet Conditions" and i can attest that it will not do well in those conditions. Hindsight 20/20, Follow the directions, Do the steps, and your food plot will be phenomenal with this product, the deer love it so much I have trail camera pictures of two small bucks bedded directly amongst my secret spot food plot.

Started sprouting within 2 days
I put this down on a round area of my back yard where nothing wanted to grow and was surprised how quickly I saw little green dots of new plants start to emerge. A couple weeks later and it's doing well. Don't know if the deer will like it or not and it wasn't planted for hunting purposes. I already have deer that come to my yard anyway. Would rather have them eat this than my flowers and at least something finally is covering that area of ground.

Seed coverage
When you first look at the description it say one bag covers 9000 square feet but the bag only cover up to 4500 square feet. I have only recently planted the seeds so not sure how it will turn out.

Very prolific.
Plants came up quickly and looks like a lush meadow. Wildlife seems to love it. I was extremely pleased.

Seed
Well I'm glad to get it an it seems to be growing now, I like the idea of it has some fertilizer to help the seeds grow.

Good growth
Grew 4 inches in one month. Deer pass by seen on my trail cameras. But don't seem interested. Have two patches of growth neather one seems to attract the deer so far. Will see if interested later in the season.
