Curtain Track
For the most part this is an inexpensive way to curtain off areas in your room or home that you would like to hide temporarily. After reading all the reviews, I was hesitant, but took a leap of faith that I could figure it oout and bought this system. First, it is plastic, yet a very sturdy plastic. It comes rolled up in the packaging and it IS NOT easy to unroll.... however... if you have a hair dryer or heat gun, it is much easier. One must be careful not to put too much heat for too long a time in any one place. or it will melt the plastic. It works better with two people, but one person can do it. I unrolled the coiled plastic best I could using the heat gun, then let it lay on the floor overnight. Second, there were complaints that it was too hard to get the rail to clip into the holders. After some examination, I noticed that there is a definite top and bottom of the rail, although it looks like both sides are the same. The top portion of the rail ... the part that clips into the holders... is completely flat, while the bottom has a slight round to it. This is difficult to discern and took me a while to figure it out. The top portion of the rail slides into a slot on the clip and the clip has a spring holder that will snap into place once the rail gets fully inserted. Third, the anchors that hold the secure the clips to the ceiling are small plastic anchors. Using the proper drill bit to make the hole in the ceiling drywall is very important. I used an 11/64ths and it worked great. It is only necessary to use one anchor and screw per clip. When you screw the screw into the anchor...DO NOT over torque it because this will make the anchor unstable and not hold the clip. Make it just tight enough to hold the clip firmly to the ceiling. If you're handy enough and have a stud finder, and your rail will go across the ceiling joists, you can screw the clips to the joists and not have to worry about the anchors. I snapped a line on the ceiling to make sure the rail would be straight. Finally, putting the rail into the clips is better done with 2 people, one person can do it, but it's not very easy, especially if you have a bend in your rail. Did I mention there are NO instructions in the packaging? Hmmm, yeah, no instructions. You have to refer to the video on the web page of the store you bought this from. I found that messed up. All in all this is a good system and will serve it's purpose. I will use it to cover up some background clutter when on ZOOM meetings. I am using a couple of sheets and the system has no problem holding them up. If you are not a DIYer, I highly recommend getting someone to install this for you that has some level of construction ability.

Tough to straighten
The media could not be loaded. Using it as a room divider. Bought 2 tracks. It arrives in a coil so I laid it on the floor for a couple days to straighten it out. Didn’t work. Probably need to use heat to help straighten it. It was tough to install and I definitely needed another set of hands to hold it up while I installed it. It’s crooked but it works really well. Curtains r usually closed and u can’t see how crooked it is. Next time I will invest a little more money and buy aluminum tracks that r already straight. Again, it sides super easy and is secure. Works really well. Just crooked. Overall I can only give it 3 stars.

Works well after addressing a few things
This product works for the intended purpose, however there are a few things to consider. The mounting hardware comes with 15 drywall anchors. There are 15 clips for the track with two holes each. Simple math will tell you that there are half as many drywall anchors as there should be. In the long run it doesn't matter though because the anchors are useless. The screws aren't long enough to flare the anchor properly which results in a spinning, unsecure feeling anchor. I used longer screws that I already had and was able to make the anchors work. There is nothing to hold a curtain on unless you get your own clips. You can bend the little d rings open and loop them through something and clamp them back closed, but some sort of a clip would work better. Not a big problem, but something to consider when purchasing. The track is sent rolled up but has a metal core so can be straightened pretty easily. The clips that hold the track up do a good job of holding it straight. The hangers roll nicely and it works well once you provide your own parts to get it going. 4 stars because it was inexpensive and works very well once a few issues are sorted.
