FINALLY! A COMPLETELY PERFECT MUG! This mug weighs 6 1/4 ounce empty so it’s VERY lightweight for glass. With liquid like water filled to about 1/2 inch from the top it weighs 1lb 2 ounces, so still lightweight even filled. It holds 14 ounces to rim and about 12 ounces half an inch from the rim. It has an almost completely flat bottom, so no water collects on bottom in dishwasher, which washes it beautifully. It is sturdy and can stand up to light knocks. It comes packed wonderfully in a sectioned box with styrofoam to protect the mugs. Mine came without problem. They take on no coffee stains and have a handle that is a nice size for most. This is much better than any double sided or single sided mug compared to the many I’ve tried. It has a great shaped lip on the cup and there is no dripping down the side like the double sided mugs. It is 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide. You can pick the mug up by the handle after a 2 minute heat in the microwave (which I use repeatedly all day/every day) with no problem. The cost is reasonable compared to other glass mugs too. So I’m in love with this mug and have ordered two sets now and have no complaints whatsoever! I can’t imagine I would ever order another mug after using these! I think you’ll love them too!Update - After a years use these mugs still look like brand new. My guy liked seeing my drinks and decided to try one. Now he wants to use my mugs all the time. I have just ordered my 4th box of these to insure we have enough for everyone. - Ha!

Revised as March 4/2024- Actually The Mistery vanishing Crack was NOT and issue with the Cup, I narrowed down to a possible Dishwasher liquid and/or dishwasher hi temperatures Combination as i realized the wire basket touched the cup exactly where the crack like line formed, I realized when my current 3 year old Cups which I've also bought from the same vendor did exactly the same I moved to another location on my dishwasher and the issue stopped, I will order them again, we were very happy with ours.My Original Review:These Mugs Feel and Look Great, However, I ordered and received my 2 pcs 27 oz cups, they came very nicely and very well packaged. Dish Washed prior to first use next day wife and i poured our daily morning coffee, upon finishing our coffee there was what looked to be a crack and felt like cracked glass on the outside strange enough there was no crack felt on inside wall only on the outside (see pictures) Next couple of day I requested and exchange and sent the cups they were back, they quickly responded and sent the replacement right away , Same Process we dish washed our cups and served our cofee in them Once Again cracks showed up on both cups exact at the same place and had same issue except this time when i touched the crack felt like a crack again outside of the cup wall but this time was really sticky and no indication of a crack on the inside. So washed the cups an viola the crack was washed off and vanished felt like glue. I tested the cups adding boiling water to them and they were fine no cracks no stress they look normal, I am unable to contact LUXU Direct to inquire about this issue and I will contact Customer service as it seems is the only way to contact the vendor is through them.

Very nice looking glass cups. The size is perfect, and they clean up nice in the dishwasher.

I just received these this morning, I'm very impressed by the quality. Lightweight for their volume and material. You'd expect a 27oz glass mug to be super heavy, but these are super thin, almost (but not quite) wine-glass like thickness. Probably not a good choice for a frosted beer mug, but great for use as a normal, stable, high-volume glass.The base/shape/width makes it stable (knockover/spill resistant) and easy to wash (always wash new dishes before use) even with my huge hands.I have no idea what I'll use the lids for but they fit great and are also of very good quality.I'll revisit this post if they turn out to be unreasonable fragile or scratch prone, but so far I am happy with the purchase.UPDATE: I bought another set, these glasses are great. I was just taking them out of the dishwasher and smacked two of them together fairly hard, no damage. After using them almost exclusively the past week or so I realized the material reminds me of a glass coffee pot or a laboratory beaker. I think this is the same material. p.s. the lids are actually pretty handy and fill a need I didn't know I had, now if I can't finish a drink or want to make something ahead of time (chilled coffee for example) I can put a lid on it before putting it in the fridge.Update: 1/20/23 I have managed to accidentally chip one, so they're tougher than they feel but not bullet proof. The chipped spot is pretty sharp so I'm down one mug. It happened when I smacked it against a ceramic dish pretty hard so it wasn't an unexpected result. :(Update 10/28/2024 Still great glasses. TLDR is they're light and tough (though not bulletproof)After almost 2 years of use as my favorite mugs, no stains or scratches. The only negative is they lack the mass to make a good frosted beer mug, there's just not enough bulk glass to act as an effective thermal sink. They are fantastic for literally every other application I can think of.

My only complaint is how hot it gets compared to other mugs. I use them nightly for tea but the glass is thin so you deff can’t hold them by anything but the handle for a good 10 minutes after pouring hot water from the kettle into them. Which is still kind of hard cuz the handle isnt that large so I usual burn the tops of my fingers carrying it to the table lol.But what I will say is that even though the glass is thin- it’s pretty dang durable!! I have accidentally banged them against other dishes multiple times while washing them (which would have easily broke other glass cups) and they dont have a knick or scratch on them. I don’t regret buying them tough - they’re cute and affordable. I guess it really just depends what youre using them for.

Delightful cups! Lightweight to the point that I have to handle them with care, though.
