This was called a Sera Steady in the hospital. My Dad is 89, stroke victim, on Hospice... declining. This type of people mover was used at one of his hospital stays and it was so useful I started to hunt one up for home. The one in the hospital was too wide to get thru our bathroom doors (standard home doors) and it was $3000. I bought this one from Amazon and I will swear to you... it is as strong and useful as the $3000 version. More useful actually because low and behold it fits thru our standard doors right in the bathroom, right back to his lift chair, over to the bed etc... This gizmo (hand to my heart) has raised my Dads standard of living in these last days he has with us. It has made it possible, dare I say easy to get him to the table to have family dinners with us, up to play cards, up to get cleaned up. Wonderful product.

Really great item. Rolls easy, strong and sturdy. Easy to put together. We unfortunately did not have a chance to use it, but I believe it would have worked wonderfully for transports. ( COTA)

I wish the device LOCK peddles were longer -- I keep catching my feet on them. They are fine in thelock-position, but are too small in the unlock-function.The device itself works fine, even over our lumpy carpet. It does make both me and my husband stronger ... a nice bonus.

This lift has been a huge help in transferring my MIL, who suffers from MS. It’s been a total game changer and is even helping her build strength. I don’t know why we waited so long to invest in it, but we’re both extremely happy with it. If you or your loved one has even a little upper body strength and can stand in one place, buy this immediately! We’ve used it to transfer her from the bed to the toilet, to the wheelchair, and we’ve even showered her in it. I highly recommend this to anyone dealing with mobility issues.

A super great sit to stand lift. Rugged, and floor arms will expand to fit most chairs. Leg pads are not adjustable width wise; I removed them. You can re-drill mounting holes if needed. Had for some time now. Only occasional oiling on casters and expansion pedal mechanism required.

Well built, sturdy and easy to move, even on carpet. Assembly was not difficult. The seating position is a bit high for my 5'0" father but still useable. Had to adjust his bed to have space to slide the lift under it. With hindsight I wish I bought the model with spreadable legs.

This product is far above the other stedy products I have used. I actually just returned one from another company. You will not be disappointed. Easy seat flaps to adjust open and closed. No pin to have to pull and raise the seat. This was my biggest issue. Heavy and rolls very smooth. Again you won’t be disappointed.

This is a great product...HOWEVER when I purchased it in Feb of 2023 it was offered on Amazon with the ability to spread the support wheel bars wide enabling the necessary approach to give my husband the option of a recliner where the wheels and fixed bars were too close to get under it. This product is less expensive than the other version offered elsewhere. I paid $798 and needed that ability to allow him to get up and sit down in his recliner. TAKE CARE you determine if your situation will work since it is offered here without the feature I found necessary.
