Advocate Blood Kit PetTest - Pet Glucose Monitoring System

My old cat became diabetic and this worked well in adjusting insulin dosages, detecting hypoglycemic events and aiding the vet in helping my pet. Fortunately my cat's diabetes has reversed, which can happen, but I'll still monitor him monthly using this meter.

The glucose monitor didn't work. The lancet was complete garbage. Before I knew the monitor didn't work, I tried to use the lancet on my poor cat a few times. All it did was hurt my cat after trying to poke her with a worthless lancet multiple times. When I finally got it (I had to poke her poor ear by hand using the needle thing because it was an emergency) only to discover the monitor wouldn't work. It kept saying error. I did everything the directions said and nothing worked. And FYI, I know how to use a glucose monitor. I used my friend's and it worked perfectly, and It didn't hurt my cat at all. Then I discovered that Chewy has the same crappy monitor I bought for 35$. I paid almost 60$ with tax. The only upside was I can return it, which I am in the process of doing. I'm going to buy my diabetic furbaby something much better. I recommend everyone else to do the same.

Just do it at the vet. The Lancer broke first try and the set up is just cheaply made.
