Its actually pretty useful, sturdy, presentable for a decent price versus some other yoga carrier mats that cost you between $30.00-56.00. Its not necessary. This has 1 zipper pocket and 2 velcro pockets and is machine washable. The only reason I would rate this a star less that its already slightly showing signs of wear [the side of the carrier where it rubs against your clothes is starting to fuzz. Its not that distracting or annoyingly obvious [I got mine in black]. Other than that its useful, sturdy, and spacious. Not to tall, just at maybe a few inches more of space longer [length] than the orignal sizing length-wise of the mat. I can easily fit my 72' mat towel, yoga mat 72" x 24" with 3mm thickness, a hand towel, a pouch, a yoga mat spray bottle, an extra shirt or two, keys, wallet, teatree oil, and another hand towel. I'm happy with it and have been traveling with it for awhile.

I don't understand why people are complaining about it only because it's no red. It's a cute hot pink/salmon color! In FACT the main reason I bought it was because of the color (and thick material in the pictures). It has thick and good quality material, lots of pockets space for snacks, wallets, pads, etc.. Big enough for my 24 x 68 3mm Yoga mat! I can even fit 3 regular water bottles, a hand towel, and weight gloves along with my mat!

When I unwrapped the package, I immediately thought it was too small. Then I noticed the zipper than goes not just across the opening but down one side. I began to load my mat, towel (folded on top of mat, not rolled) inside and it zipped up easily. Then I placed my eye pillow and strap in one pocket, aromatherapy bottle and cleaner in another, and a couple of CD's, handkerchief and yoga socks and gloves. Most of all, it's lightweight to carry and the adjustable strap is awesome.

I like this bag! The color is lovely and bright, just like in the picture. I like having three pockets, and the big one is very roomy. Plenty of space for a water bottle to sit or for my keys and phone. Unfortunately, my old yoga mat is too thick to fit inside, so I traded with my mom for a thinner one and it does fit. I will say that it JUST fits, so there isn't any wiggle room even though the yoga mat I am using now fits the specifications on the page (5-6 mm thick and 25'' long). If you read the product description, it does mention that you can't use a yoga mat that's too thick or long, but even with a correctly sized yoga mat, it's snug.

For the money this is a great bag, I bought 2. I have 7 mats, it can fit my 3MM Manduka Eko, 6MM Wana Lai, 5MM Jade Harmony, 3 MM Jade Voyager, 5MM Reversible Lulu Lemon nicely. There's still room for a full size yoga mat towel. There's a small pocket outside that can hold a face towel, keys, money.The only thing that bugs me is the material is fabric like and there aren't any vent holes. It is not big enough to fit my 5MM Manduka GRP Hot Yoga Mat and definitely not the Manduka Pro Mat. Despite that I am happy with it and would definitely buy another if needed.

I loved the bag; it was pretty much everything I wanted, BUT the stitching at the bottom of the carry strap (where it attaches to the bag) was not done well and already pulling out. I am sure it would have detached completely before long. I noted that one other person had this experience. Maybe it was a one-off quality control issue. I am returning it. However, I really loved the coral color, very classy. I also liked the water bottle expandable pocket, although I probably would have used it for a medium-sized wallet and put my water bottle in with the mat (kind of dangerous, though!). My mat fit perfectly and as mentioned, I had room to put a water bottle in with the mat. Sorry I have to return it, but I am not a seamstress.

It is a good bag, better thought out than most others. The mat is well balanced, when carried horizontally in hand, plus, the location of a zipped pocket is very convenient. I had a green bag and decided to buy another for my backup mat. I ordered black, however it turned out to be bigger than the green and what is indicated in the description – about 26" long and not 24.5". It is also wider. Some people may prefer that, but I bought the bag for a particular mat and wanted the latter to sit in the bag tight. This is why 4 stars, instead of 5.

I've had my mat for awhile and recently decided to get a mat bag to carry it bc I'm using my mat more these days. This is a great bag! Easy to get the mat in and out with room to spare. Nice pockets on the outside and since I already had a green yoga mat from Walmart, the green bag color is perfect for me. Seems well made and I can't wait to carry it to class!
