Similac For Spit-Up NON-GMO Infant Formula with Iron, Powder, 1.41 lb

This formula literally saved my daughter. She had severe acid reflux and wasn’t gaining weight and refused to eat. She was failing to thrive. We spent countless days in the hospital and at the doctors office trying to figure out what to do. The next step was admitting her to the hospital for an extended period of time to run tests on her. She was only 2 months old. We went through like 10 different formulas and this is the only one that made a huge difference! She started to eat, gain weight and by the time she turned one she was in the 75th percentile for weight! This stuff is a miracle!

My baby started around 3-4 weeks old with a pretty bad silent reflux. Having a bad cough, choking, respiratory problems, fussiness, etc caused by reflux. After trying two different formulas the doctor finally recommended this one and it was a life saver. You have to wait approximately a week or a little bit longer to see the results. All the symptoms were gone!It constipated her at first and I mixed it half and half with Enfamil Reguline a couple times a day. Now that my baby got used to it I don’t need the Enfamil formula any more.I highly recommend this formula!

This formula was the one for us. Our daughter was a “happy spitter” but, as her parents, we were unhappy being constantly covered in large quantities of spit up. This formulation helps a lot! We used probiotic drops and didn’t have any problems with constipation. I can finally wear black clothes again. If you have a baby that spits up a lot, it’s worth a try!

My son was a "happy spitter" but at 5 months old it seemed the problem was getting worse when it should be getting better, it seemed he was spitting up constantly with enough volume that a bib couldn't handle it and we had to change his outfit (and ours) several times a day. Within a few days of switching to this formula he barely spits up at all, couldn't be happier with the end result.

This was a godsend for 33 weeker who suffered horrible bouts of acid reflux. We worked long and hard with lactation but knew after consulting several specialists, we needed to add formula. He was way to young and at under 6 pounds upon arriving home, had a very open gut. Adding cereal to an already choking baby is always a bad idea. I'm so grateful our pediatrician and NICU followup team finally all agreed on one thing - Similac SpitUp was the best formula for our little. It comes with the weight needed and no choking problems. It's thicker than normal but easily flows through a Avent L1 slow flow.The price is hard to stomach, there's no generic but buying here at Amazon subscribe and save is a great option. Formula will appear bubbly and leave residue along bottles, that's okay. I've found best to shake, stir and serve immediately. This formula does not due well left out over time. I do not save these after 20 minutes if not fed, because the consistency is off. Although many brands pre-made well, I again do not recommend with this formula. Treat as a medicine, disperse and use as needed than trash.

This did help reduce the amount of spit up slightly but it’s not worth the incredible discomfort this put my son through. He’d start screaming in pain before having a bowel movement. It’s horrible to know you caused your kid pain, I’ll just deal with 15 bibs a day. The reflux is annoying but not harmful.

My poor little girl had gone through several different kinds of formula. We tried everyrhing from soy to sensitive. We tried generic, enfimel, gerber, organic, breast milk and other kinds of simalac. This was the only one she could keep down. She still spits up here and there but its nothing even close to before. This formula is a life saver and worth every penny.

My 3 month old has had severe acid reflux since she was 3 weeks old. She's had a lot of trouble gaining weight because of refusing to eat, and most recently a lot of trouble with spit up. While she is on medication, we've noticed a significant change in her since her pediatrician switched her to this formula. She loves the taste of it and she switched right over to it with no issues. We tried similac alimentum the day before she was switched to this and she completely vomited up both bottles I tried to feed her. She hasn't gotten constipated at all, but we also have her on gerber probiotic colic drops. She is now gaining weight appropriately and a much happier baby! Highly recommend for reflux babies or babies having trouble with weight gain!
