These lights were a vastly huge upgrade to my factory interior, puddle lights, and tag lights. All of the installation was easy, except for the map lights. You’ll just have to YouTube that little adventure. My suggestion is extremely adhesive tape and patience. All of the lights fit fine and the quality of the lights appear to be awesome. For the price, you get a complete overhaul of your dim interior lighting. It makes it feel like a new vehicle. The color is nice and bright and for the value, you can’t go wrong.

I have used this AUTOGINE 16 Piece White Interior LED Lights Kit in two 5th Gen Toyota 4Runners that we owned and love how bright they are compared to the original Toyota OEM filament light bulbs. They are very easy to install using the included trim tool. The two hardest bulbs to remove are the original Toyota OEM bulbs for the two map lights above the dash. I used blue painter tape firmly wrapped around these two bulbs and gently worked the old bulbs out using only my fingers. I would not use a tool to remove the bulbs as the bulbs may break due to over pressure. There are several YouTube videos that show how to remove and replace all bulbs; just search YouTube for "5th gen 4runner interior light replacement". This upgrade makes a night and day difference on how bright these lights are compared to the old Toyota OEM bulbs. I'll probably buy an extra set to have some spares on hand. I highly recommend this light kit to anyone and I give them a 5 star rating. +++++

You are only looking at this review because you agree that the OEM interior lights are dim and outdated. I made the switch to Autogine super bright LED's for both my interior and exterior (license plate and puddle lights) lighting and the results and function are worth the upgrade. In regards to the quality of lighting, it makes the 4Runner feel more modern with the bright white lights. I am an owner of a 2020 TRD Off-Road Premium and can confirm the LEDs are compatible. Everything you need to install comes ready in the kit-which includes the interior/exterior LEDs, soft prying tool, and LED location description, except for a Philips screwdriver (license plate and puddle lights). Installation is simple, you can find great instructional videos on youtube for all bulb exchanges from interior to exterior. The total installation time was about 1hr with interior lighting to be easier done than the exterior bulb swap. So far, I am very satisfied with this purchase and fast shipping from the seller with prime. The photos speak for themselves.

All in one package! You get everything you need in this order. During the daytime, not much of a bright difference. But at night, these lights are very bright. My interior is beige and when the lights are on at night, they are very bright and white! Quite frankly, puddle door lights may need to be brighter. I also did not use these for my license plate lights. I purchased license plate LED's separately.

My only beef with these lights is the lack of a good manual that should "nail down" any specifics on the polarity of the light bulbs and how to install easily.I had one BIG headache doing the map lights and had to read up a lot on YouTube under the comments. Everyone they show just pop off the plastic dome and put them into their 4Runner. Stop- it's not easy and there's no real documentaion.However, hang in there and get them installed (I've skipped the glovebox as that sounds like a nightmare).They are much brighter- at least 2x. The original 4Runner lights are old school incandescent bulbs that are behind the times. I do wish Toyota would come into the "times" and update some easily updateable features.Long review short- they are worth it, none have failed so far (some weeks now), some are easily installed, and for the price it's almost silly not to do it.

This is a great improvement for the 4Runner to not look so dated with those terrible halogen bulbs!These will provide a crisp white light.Brightness is only a slight improvement over stock, the color temperature is the biggest difference, I love these for in the cabin as they are still easy on the eyes due to the light output and have no complaints there, I do however wish the back hatch, mirror puddle lights and courtesy door lights were brighter, I may still consider replacing those down the road with brighter ones as they could definitely stand to be brighter. Nevertheless if brightness isn’t a concern and you’re pleased with slightly better than stock this is a great package! Pro-Tip packing tape is your best friend in removing the Halogens from the map lights up front, place tape around the bulb, twist until tightly gripped around bulb, gently pull bulb out of socket. It is a extremely small and narrow opening where most fingers and tools will not fit.

These LED lights work perfectly in my 2015 5th Gen 4RUNNER. Their brightness makes a huge improvement to the interior lights.

Comes with tool but you may need a tiny screw driver. Google lens removal for your vehicle. That saved me a lot of messing around. (Tape trick for removal of super small bulbs )
