A nice simple and sleek lock -- but longevity unknown
I selected this lock simply with the goal of making it easier to get through the front door when my hand are full, as they often are. It does a reasonably good job of that, though using the fob to unlock is fussier than it is, for instance, with my car. I usually end up using the keypad, which isn't a big deal. Its sleek appearance suits me well.I have no interest in connecting the front door to a smartphone or home network or toaster or refrigerator. This lock doesn't set out to do such things, which was an attraction to me: fewer unused features to go wrong.The directions for installation and setup were clearly not written by a native English speaker and in a few cases are simply in error. Installing locks well requires a reasonable level of skill, and probably patience, especially when the mechanisms are powered with light batteries.Will it last? Samsung products are generally well made, but electronics are famously flaky. It would be ideal to have a product that has a track record of durability.

If you don’t need WiFi, this is your new generation deadbolt lock!!
The media could not be loaded. Most definitely buy this lock! I had a Schlage deadbolt and it took me less than 15 minutes to replace it with the Samsung keypad. I love it!Here are some features to consider.1. No WiFi, but I prefer not to have it for security purposes. It is a touch pad with random number two number generator before unlocking to ensure that someone doesn’t figure out your passcode.2. It comes with a few rfid keyless fobs and one card to include two red fobs for guests. You never have to copy another key again. You can simply reset and unpair fobs that are lost.3. Passcode. Very easy to program and you can simply add different passcodes for individuals that you can easily delete when necessary. You have the master code so you can use it to change, add, and delete passcode as well as pair new rfid fobs.4. It’s slick, clean, and cool looking. See my video and picture for details.5. The price isn’t bad. I had Schlage deadbolts for similar price and I really didn’t like it. Samsung has been doing this in Korea for decades and they know what they are doing. Schlage needs to step up their game if they don’t want to completely lose their market to Samsung.

Great electric lock if your not looking for a wifi compatibility
I love the auro locking feature. I just wish that you could turn it off without removing the plate on the side. It works very well.

it did not have a key when the unit malfunctioned
When the unit malfunctioned, you will be locked out. There is no key.-----------
