Here is what you need to know to make a decision
It has a 4000mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. It comes with a 4 blue battery charge-level indicator light. A USB cable is included which you then connect to your own 12V-to-5V USB car cigarette adapter, 5V power bank outlet, laptop/PC USB port, or cell phone charger to charge the Lithium battery. With any of these adapters (particularly the car cigarette adapter) you don't need a charge indicator light on your USB adapter (such indicator lights are present in some USB adapters) because the Tomight's charge indicator lights tell you if the unit is charging anyway. It also comes with a handy travel bag and it's possible to fit the USB cable and the 3 nozzles in the travel bag, even the user manual, in addition to the air pump unit itself. (As for me, I will keep everything in the bag and keep the bag in the sturdy box received.) One of the reviewers here claimed the unit can run for 35-45 minutes before getting hot; however, the Tomight's user's guide states the unit's duty cycle is actually 15 minutes (User Manual, unnumbered p. 7), and I am sorry but I will believe the engineers who designed this unit over any reviewer's claim. The pump states it is to be allowed to cool for 30 minutes after every 15 minutes of continuous use and before reusing again. I also read a reviewer claim the unit charges in 3 hours; the user guide, however, states (unnumbered p. 6) it takes 5 hours to charge the unit. (Mine arrived partially charged and took less than an hour to bring it to a full charge, but I still kept it plugged the additional 4 hours, as instructed) The unit's weight, per website description, is 12.8 ounces, or 0.8 lbs. It also included three nozzles of different apertures, which is pretty standard in this industry and, thus, a poor comparison factor. The ad also states the unit delivers a pressure 3300 Pa, but I didn't test that to see if it was accurate. The 2.5" x 3.5" User Manual is 28 pages long and includes instructions and illustrations in 6 languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and Japanese). There are 5 illustrations in the Manual. The On/Off switch is located above the charge indicator lights and is the toggle type (as opposed to a rocker type switch). The switch is flushed against the body of the pump. Both the box and the pump itself state it is model HT-421. The following specs are given in the Manual (p. 4): Shell material: ABS; Battery type: Li-ion; Battery voltage: 3.7V; Input Voltage: 5V DC; Capacity: 4,000mAh;Watt-hrs per battery: 16.2 W-hrs. The User Manual contains these sections: Product Diagram, Specs, Usage (To Inflate; To Deflate), Charging the Battery;Items included in the package; Important Notes.

First to review!
First person to review so here it goes!! I recently bought an air mattress by Intex and it came with a battery operated pump....which was really not good enough to fully blow up the mattress....took forever and never got it completely full.....I had to buy 6 batteries which became over heated...... I was happy to find the electric one at a great price too...... I use the air mattress for a guest bed.... The electric pump is amazing, really amazed me how fast it works.....in minutes it fully blew up the mattress to being fully firm......however, everyday I have to add more air to the mattress, just to keep it full......and its not even used everyday.....so odd.....not sure if I have a leak in it.....otherwise, the pump itself is just great to have and easy to use ....... not sure if it can be used for any air mattress so make sure before you buy the pump

Stays charged forever!
I ordered this for our first camping trip of the year. We are finally old enough that we NEED and air mattress, there is no way around it LOL. I bought an 18inch deep Queen air mattress. This pump blew it up 3 times on one charge. It also sucks the air out of it when you’re taking it down. We will never camp without an air mattress again and not having to plug in the pump was so nice and is also going to be so convenient for pool floaties this summer!! You should buy it, it’s awesome.

Great for SMALL items
Cute little air pump. Great for small items or keeping already inflated larger ones topped off. But it doesn't pack enough punch for larger items. The problem is you can only use it for 15 minutes at a time to prevent the motor from overheating and then you must turn it off to cool for 30 minutes. I have a large item with a small hole and it took a while to inflate with this little guy. And then I have other things to blow up too. I hated waiting for cool downs. Nor did I like having to stand there with a stopwatch to keep track of the 15 minutes. All too tedious.I don't regret buying this pump; I love its portability. It'll be great to travel with to inflate pillows/cushions. Plus I love how quiet it is. Not quite as loud as a hair dryer. I live in an apartment. I won't hesitate to use this pump if I need to blow something up late at night. But I'm purchasing a more robust air pump to use at home (during the daytime). One that roars like a jet engine pumping air at a fast rate before the motor overheats. One that plugs in so I don't have to bother with keeping it charged. I'm not going to call this toy because it does work well. But if you need an air pump, buy an AIR PUMP. Don't mess around. If you don't need a battery operated pump or one to travel with, I would say buy a different, larger pump.

great small pump for traveling, but not enough battery for multiple jobs.
We actually purchased this for a lake trip, we had several inflatables, and wanted something we could easily carry with us from the car, so we didn't have to inflate them all at the car and carry down. After receiving it and seeing how small it was I thought we better try it out before hand. Unfortunately, this did not have enough juice to inflated 2 of our larger inflatables. It would probably work well for a couple twin mattresses or 1 king. It does start to have difficulty keeping pressure as the battery goes, and then just shuts off.I still ranked it 4 stars because for it size as capacity it should work well air mattresses. But if you need to inflate multilpe things or larger inflatables, you may want to look elsewhere.
