It worked as expected.

I purchased this for my mom who cannot find plain Tussin in the stores. She can’t have anything DM so I was so excited to find this for her. She said she got used to the taste and didn’t mind that it was sugar free.

GOOD: Product is clear, not red = a plus! Product does thin mucus, making it easier to expel. That's the good news.BAD news: Product only in 4 oz. size bottle = inadequate quantity = excessive cost per dose.CURE: Offer in 16 & 32 oz. bottles. What good is it if you can't afford to use it, due to cost of dose?

I have low blood sugar, so I cannot have sweet, flavored cough syrup. This is perfect. And I also like it because it does not have other 'medicines' mixed in it. Most of the time I just need something for my allergy coughs. Taste is not bad at all. It is not sweet tasting. I've been using it for over 5 years.

While this is the only product I have found which is only guaifenisen with no other ingredient, it tastes FOUL. I threw it away, and will make due with one of the various "DM" products.

Read the label! It has fake sugar which spikes blood sugar!!! This is NOT a good choice for diabetics, despite its claims. Just R-E-A-D the label and educate yourselves on sugar substitutes that still spikes blood sugar. All that aside, it tastes EVIL! YUK!
