Everything worked and fit well except the steering lock. I had to drill and tap the end of it and install a bolt with a nut . Loctited it in place then ground the hex round. Then it was long enough to lock the steering.

Works good, only downside i got my Honda ruckus stolen after 1 of getting this 😓😂

I bought this for a 2007 Honda Ruckus, because the keys were lost and needed the helmet lock. I really like the extra security on the ignition, and I think it looks nicer than the stock ignition. All the locks worked well. My only gripe is that they don't provide bolts and screws to install everything. In order to change the ignition you have to destroy tamper-proof bolts on the original ignition. They don't provide new ones, so I had to replace it with normal bolts for now, which anyone can remove. Also, the screws for the helmet lock seem fairly specific. I don't have the original ones so I put in some smaller bolts that fit, however the length of the socket isn't very long so I had to use a few washer to make it work. When I tightened it down the end of the socket slightly cracked down towards the shaft of the lock, and then the lock didn't work. I have to grind out part of the shaft to get everything to fit again. If they had just include the correct bolts I would give this a 5 star. I would have rather just been charged $2 for the bolts/screws than deal with the annoyance of trying to find the correct ones. I'm not a mechanic, but I found changing everything out fairly easy...took a little time to take the tamper proof bolts off though. Just YouTube that part.

Part came and seems to be good but I can’t find any information on the specs for the size of connector needed to plug into unit. My wires were cut on the scooter an I need to wire them to a harness/connector before I can plug in and see if it truly works.

The ignition switch locking mechanism will not lock the steering on the Honda Ruckus. The shaft that extends when the switch is in the lock position is way too short to reach the hole in the frame.

Better than stock in my opinion. Only because the key comes with an extra level of security where you can use the butt-end of the key to turn a jig that slides a metal faceplate covering the keyhole itself. Super awesome.

It works fine. When wired in, it starts my Honda Zoomer fine. The only issue I have is the steering locking lug is way to short. It just doesn't engage. That's the only problem I've found. Good thing I know how to weld. I'll be adding some more steel to the locking lug in future.
