Great Headphones, Reasonable Price
It was time. My previous gaming headset was also my first; a pair of wired Turtle Beach headphones that I purchased back in 2010. For you young bloods, that's about the time dinosaurs roamed the Earth. They had been great headphones, helping me slay many a newb. However, by the fall of 2017 they were - quite literally - falling apart. So I began my search for a new set. Like everyone else - I like getting the best bang for my buck, which means that I'm not some brand-loyal fanboi. That being said, I checked out the new turtle beach sets on Amazon first, since I had such a great experience with the previous pair. I started looking at wired sets, but decided that the year 2018 means that I shouldn't have to be tethered to a console or tower anymore. That led me to where you are now. With a 4/5ish stars and my previous experience, I figured that a price tag of $80 was a reasonable gamble. So I bought 'em and patiently waited for them to arrive, like a cheap Terran turtle strategy in the early days of SC2. When they arrived I unboxed them, charged them up, installed the drivers, and took them for a spin. The first thing you need to know is that they are comfortable. When I put them on I barely noticed they were there. The weight distribution and padding make these earphones feel like a ring of clouds gently cradling your cranium. Even after hours-long veg sessions, I experience no discomfort from these bad boys. The next thing you need to know is that they're great headphones. The sound is crisp. Whether you're vibin' out to some dubstep while conquering worlds, or comin' at newbs like a spider monkey all hyped up on Mountain Dew, these headphones do an excellent job of taking you from in front of your gaming rig and transporting you to the digital world. What? Still not sold? Well, how about the fact that you can independently adjust microphone and game/music volume? Or that you can cycle through a few "boost" settings on the fly? Maybe the stupid long battery life will convince you to drop your "hard-earned" lunch money on these beauts. I've gone a full 10 hours without having to charge these things. All of these great things, however, pale in comparison to the best feature of these headphones: They're a fantastic aphrodisiac. When I power these bass cannons up and strap them on, my girl comes walking by and gives me the eye-trucking of a lifetime. She can barely keep her hands off of me. To be honest, I rarely ever actually get around to playing any games anymore, because of all the... distractions... that come with wearing these headphones. When you put on a pair of these 450 headphones, it's like all of a sudden a special magnet has been activated, and women you didn't even know lived around you come knockin' at your door asking about your K/D ratios. Don't believe me? Buy 'em, put 'em on, and check yourself out in the mirror. Make sure to flex at the same time. I can guarantee you if you post that image on your Insta your phone will blow up, kind of like you when I grenade spam you in the last PUBG circle. So, yeah, make your dreams come true my dude. Purchase these headphones and don't look back.

The perfect wireless/wired headphone for a mid-range budget
I went through a few different headsets over the past couple of weeks trying to find my "Neo", "The One". I started off with a $40 pair of wired 'phones that did the job and I was going to live with them, but then...disaster struck. Two or three nights in, they just stopped working. Back to the store those went, and I came home with a $60 pair of wireless 'phones from an old standby, Creative. They were discounted, apparently an end of model year clearance or something? They were ok for the first hour or two but then came a sudden silence! Noted in one review as featuring a 'wired' option as well, I plugged in the USB cable only to find out that no data is transmitted over the cable, just power. Tired of the back and forth and itching to play The Division, I bit the bullet on these 450's. I could not be happier! Everything about them is aces. I'll break it down. •The ear cups are fabric. A small thing, you might think "leather is premium" but apparently my ears sweat, and then they're sort of swimming in leatherette. The fabric is comfortable, it never irritates, and I can look forward to them smelling like me someday. •The mic is long and flexible. I did like the G930 style of boom that mutes when you swivel it up, but there's a feature missing there that I'll touch on next. There's plenty of length on this mic, it's pretty sensitive without upping the gain in the control panel, which keeps distortion down, and there's a nice mic mute button and mic volume knob on the right ear cup. This volume level only adjusts how much of yourself you hear in the headphones, not what your teammates hear, though the mute button is great for keeping you from hearing me sweet talk my dogs. •The best feature of these is that you can in fact use them with the included 4 conductor 3.5mm cable. I need to get a breakout cable to use with my PC, the included cable is meant for use with your phone, but it'll work on the PC just great. So far, after a full weekend of loserdom, no problems with the wireless functionality either! •There is an EQ button on the right ear cup. It's not been of much use to me playing The Division. There is also a dropdown in the Sound control panel for Game, Movie and Music modes. One thing that seems to be an issue for a lot of people with headsets is that they can be too tight. These fit my size 8 head great, but every once in awhile they'll get in a position that feels like they're trying to squeeze the few brain cells I have left out of my nose. A quick readjust and they feel as comfortable as ever. Not sure what the deal is, but they fit a big head just fine 98% of the time. One other thing is the surround sound, I don't have anything else to compare to, but it's not as pronounced as I'd hoped. When there's a proximity mine beeping near me somewhere, I can barely tell if it's coming from the left or the right of me, let alone any more detail. In the windows sound test, the surround sounds great though, so it might just be a thing in the game or just be the way it is... To get the surround feature btw, you need to install the software, but it's quick and nowhere near as invasive as the Creative version. The "superhuman hearing" feature triggered by pressing F10 just brings the volume of the background sounds up a few notches, it hasn't really been a big help for me. In short, doubling what I'd hoped to pay for headphones brought me to a setup that is perfect for me.

Beim Musikhören hat man also keinen künstlich erzeugten Hall-Effekt.

Review of Ear Force Stealth 450. Used now for three days. Previously owned Px22 and had owned a Corsair CA-9011127-EUCGH2100 USB Wireless Dolby 7.1 Gaming Headset but had to return it after a day as to how terrible in design, comfort and ease of use it was. Upon receiving the item, which was nicely packaged and a breeze to open (driver was friendly and only delivered 2 hours after leaving the warehouse, what?!) the Turtle Beach packaging was easy to open, with only three oval shaped tape restricting the opening of the headset. The box contained :- - Headset - Detachable Mic - Micro USB charging cable - Mobile phone cable (why anyone wants to use a headset for mobile gaming I cannot fathom) - Quick start up guide, warranty and stickers. The headset by Turtle Beach is very aesthetically pleasing, given it is made from a high grade plastic which may offer to the eye a money saving construction, it is actually quite rigid and solidly built. The foam padded coating on the ear pads provide adequate breathing ability to prevent your ears from sweating, whilst offering a soft contact surface against your head. I was a previous owner of a Turtle Beach PX22 for PC gaming, which may have been more comfortable, but for the needs of this headset it suffices and is still comfortable to wear even after 10+ hours of gaming, listening to music and watching movies. It is on the snug side, but not what is described in previous reviews being too tight. I myself having a medium sized head and having no problems with it "crushing my skull" as it were, after adjusting the headband to suit my needs. The sound quality from this headset far exceeded my expectations, having both the option once downloading the software to keep it in stereo, 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound. When listening to music, every note and instrument can be heard and is on par with my pair of Seinhessers for sound quality. The bass is rich, the mid's are all there and the highs never come to the point where they over exceed what should be needed - in short, this headset is incredible for sound. I have yet to come across any problems with latency issues, and can walk to my bathroom and back to my room without experiencing any issues. The option to detach the mic when not needed is also an added bonus, allowing yourself to feel truly free from cables and to walk around the house, make a cup of tea etc when need be whilst continuing to listen to music. The quality of the mic is also incredible, it only picks up sound within a certain radius in front of me cutting out those annoying arguments with my sister or other people being heard talking throughout the house. You also have the ability to mute the mic entirely when its in, so if you need to go have a phone call etc you have the option of just pulling the mic out or muting it, stopping your friends from hearing in on your conversations. In short, it picks everything up, even me scratching my chin which I feel is a good thing, there is again no latency issue even when I talk as I hear what I say as I say it. For the quality of the mic to pick small variations of sound from the environment within a short distance but cutting everything out, Turtle Beach have truly invested a lot of research and development in this product for the ease of use and what gamer's need. On the right side of the headset, you have two volume wheels - one for audio and the other for the 'Shout' feature, itself being beneficial to allow you to hear how loud your talking, or when you want to have a sing can get an idea whether your in tune or not. Their is also a sound preset button, which scrolls through several various of enhancements, but I have never felt the need to use them. There is also the mute mic button. To surmise, would I purchase this headset again for myself or for others and recommend it? HELL YES. It is honestly thee best wireless headset right now that's both affordable and forgiving without breaking the bank. If you are looking to break free from cables and venture into wireless territory, this is the headset for you. I cannot recommend this product enough.
