Good-bye birds!
I used this for a little different purpose than most probably. We have a shelter like building 24x40, basically like a pole barn only partially closed in. It has rafters every 4 feet and lots of little nooks and crannies for the birds to sit a dump all over our patio furniture, deck and travel trailer. Some of the other folks in the same park used some bird netting from one of the home improvement stores that comes in 4 foot rolls. This meant using a lot of wood strips to hold it up and a lot of seams to worry about. With the 14x50 rolls I was able to do our entire ceiling with two rolls. My Application:I started along the long edge and stapled the edge to top of the wall, just under the trusses. Leaving a few inches extra to hang down, to be trimmed later. Then I started moving out towards the center of the building stapling it to the bottom of the trusses and the side walls. After reaching the middle I left the rest draping down for now. The next step was to use some treated 1x2 strips to go all the way around the outside edges just under the trusses, covering the staples. I used my Dewalt finish nailer with 2" nails to nail the strips up and used a nice generous bead of construction adhesive to help bind the netting between the strip and the wall. I also ran strips down the middle, wrapped the extra netting in the middle around the wood strips and stapled it to the bottom of the strips. Next I did the same process starting from the other side working my way to the middle again. this time when I got to the middle I stapled the netting to the same wood strips in the middle. I then ran another layer of wood strips right on top of the first with construction adhesive in between. After letting the whole thing dry for a couple of days, I trimmed the extra off very carefully using a razor blade. I had to patch a few other spots using plywood but the netting seems like it will be perfect for keeping birds out of the attic area. The material is light weight but seems very strong. I was not able to rip it when trying on a scrap piece. I did have a couple of spots where I stapled it to the bottom of the trusses and the staple hit it just right and cut through one of the strands. But the tear stopped there and did not continue. The openings are kind of square but can become distorted if you stretch the material one way or the other. It says it would be good for multiple seasons outside, so I'm hoping it will last even longer inside shaded from the sun. Overall I'm very happy with the end result and look forward to not having to clean up bird droppings the next time.I'll try to add some pictures the next time we're there. I'll also try to update this after a few months to report on how well it's holding up.

Great Leaf and Acorn Barrier, Too!
On the recommendation of our lawn care professional, we purchased this bird netting to handle an acorn problem. We have three mature oak trees which produce heavy leaf drop and barrels of acorns, dumping them on our newly seeded lawn every fall. Raking pulls up the new grass shoots, and our leaf blower barely budges the acorns. The process of removing them was so labor intensive that many sprouted before we could gather them up. The result was an annual crop of oak seedlings competing for nutrients and marring the look of our lawn.We placed bird netting over the new grass after it reached 3" in height, and were surprised to find how well it blends in with the lawn -- barely visible except close up. Now we pull up the netting once or twice a week, dumping the leaves and acorns into a bag or bin for disposal. Three weeks in, we see little evidence that the netting is uprooting grass or blocking the sun enough to impede its growth. Best of all, time spent dealing with oak leaves and acorns has been cut in half!

Stay away. Bait & Switch!!
Not selling what is advertised and showing in picture. Seller is clearly ripping people off. Stay away from this one. Had to use this netting as a temporary fix till I get the right stuff.

14'x45' bird net
purchased to set in an olive tree to help minimize the drop of annoying olives and it works perfectly. Seems sturdy. It's in AZ so we shall see how it holds up to the summer heat. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

Bird Netting -- Pro's and Con's
I purchased this netting to cover our six blueberry bushes. I created a framework out of PVC pipe over the bushes and then draped the netting on the frame over the bushes. When we wanted to pick blueberries, it was easy to push the netting aside and get to the blueberries. The netting was very effective at preventing birds from eating the berries; due to its high woven mesh, it is easy to handle and fold up for storage if you want to do that. On the negative side, the mesh is thick and consequently does decrease the amount of sun that the plants get. I don't know how much, but I would guess the netting decreases sun by 15-20%. That is typically not a problem for blueberries during their production phase, but it might be for some plants. Overall, I was happy with the purchase.

I love this stuff!
I bought it to replace the tulle I've been using to keep the white cabbage butterfly off my veggies. The tulle barely last through a season. This works great and feels like it will last years. Yesterday I watched a white butterfly fly over every inch of my hooped raised bed and she couldn't get in. Next year I'll test it against the squash vine borer and toss some over my strawberries to keep critters out. I'm wondering if the bees can get in and out. Since purchasing this I have also added some fruit trees. I have plenty of netting left to cover them if need be.

Perfect bird net!
Great net for keeping the birds off our cherries! I like the ease of putting the net on and taking it off. It doesn't snag the tree like other nets we've had. It's a lot heavier than other nets but considering you use it only for a few weeks, it's worth it. It sure did the job!

By far the best bird netting I have used
I used this netting to wrap my 10-12 foot tall cherry tree. The 1/4 inch mesh of this netting and the thickness of the mesh fibers makes it easy to handle and wrap over trees. It is almost like wrapping a fabric over your trees. I had tried the bird netting available at most retail outlets, but the 1/2 mesh or 3/4 inch mesh with the thinner mesh fibers catches very easily and makes it hard to handle. I used two 8 foot long PVC pipes to lift the netting up and over the tree. I did it by myself but the task would have gone much easier if I had someone helping me. Since the mesh is so small and the mesh fibers are thicker, it also didn't get snagged on the tree when I removed the netting in order to pick the cherries.
