Boot Lock Tailgate Central Actuator Trunk Rear Latch Catch for VW Golf MK5 MK6

Bought for a seat leon 2009, didn't fit flush into the space for the latch originally so had to snap off the pieces of plastic at each side and it fit then. Works fine but bit of a rough noise from the mechanism when opening the latch but for the price I can live with it!

This was an easy replacement for a broken latch on a MK 6 Golf (note that you will also need an 8mm/M8 triple square bit), although some plastic needed trimming off at the top to fit properly.

Brilliant, fitted perfectly and fixed the problem. The micro switch was saying the boot was open on the dash but was closed. Volkswagen wanted £136 for it but there’s came with the VW badge that fits in the boot but was not needed.

Our boot broke the day before we were due to go on holiday. Order new part and it arrived in plenty of time to fit. Simple fix, and works perfectly

Bit louder than OEM part but works perfectly so far

It works as effectively as a genuine VW made one.

Ordered on Sunday, arrived early afternoon Monday, works well.
