I had looked into electric socks, but anything rated good was $50-$60 or more, and even those had reported woes from people who found them too tight or not warm enough. Also, some were well rated, but ate up a lot of double AA batteries.I decided to try these slippers for about $25. I did not expect a lot, and at first I thought they did not warm up enough. But, as the minutes went by I realized that they were doing the job. I often work remote in our raised ranch basement, where I refuse to turn the heat on. So, if it is 60 or 61 degrees, that is okay by me, but my feet have not agreed with the rest of me.So far, it has been a very good experience. My feet have yet to feel cold. The slipper have worked far better than the happy feet I bought for $50 or so where you had to keep rewarming a liquid bladder. I also like that you can easily slip your feet in, and then pull the heel back to plop your foot in completely.The only negative I could point out is that the cord that connects them is about a foot too short. I connect the cord to my computer, and if I'm not careful one or both slippers can pull away. One week in, that does not happen much as I am used to that.This is one of my best-ever buys.

They are great for under my desk, people should note they are not for walking around in.

These are comfortable but they really do not get very warm at all - hardly even noticeable, really. And, of course, they cannot be walked in. So you are tethered to one spot. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a small electric blanket instead.

I've got neuropathy in both feet, n they stay cold all the time, these are great! The cord zips rt back into the front area and damn sure kept my feet warm. Great product fer sure, n will be buying more for family

After reading the reviews about not using these as house slippers, I got these for my ice cold husband and warmed him to stay put. Since listening is not his dominant trait, he used them like house slippers, and quickly blew these out. He said he couldn’t stand to put his feet back into such a cold cold world and couldn’t not use them as slippers.

materil on the top has ripped already he doesnt even walk around in them he uses them when in his recliner, that being said, the material should of lasted alot longer
