Best Pacifiers to buy, Best review of Pacifiers below.
I don't know about you, but all my friends are having babies. Super annoying, I know. BUT this is a great gift for those of us who need to get some "filler gifts" around a less-to-moderately expensive main gift for a baby-shower. Annnddd because we are not the type of friends who are going to buy you that 1,000+ stroller. It's just not happening, sorry. I wasn't the one who decided to get pregnant. (Am I right?)SO, here is why these pacifiers are so perfect:1) They have an adorable assortment of colors to get the "awww" you desire to hear at the baby shower.2) They are MODERN pacifiers. If I had a baby, I would never let it go out in public with one of those ugly bulky pacifiers. Those other ones are soooooo early 2000. ew.3) It is (undeniably) VERY cute to watch that little baby suck away on these things because you can see their little toothless mouths going "num num num num." And you don't get that with the other ugly pacifiers.4) People at the party will go bananas and ask "awww! where did you get those pacifiers?!" And as the receiver of this gift you can light up, sit proudly, and say "awww thank you auntie/uncle ______! Baby ____ will love these!" And then feel internally grateful that the one friend you doubted really SHOWED up for you at your shower. OR as the giver of this gift, you can smile, pretend you didn't hear what anyone asked you (because you really don't care) and briskly make your way over to the alcohol bar to pour yourself a nice drink because--AGAIN--it wasn't you who decided to get pregnant. In regards to quality: these are top notch. Safe, healthy, cute. Can't go wrong.

Soothes our fussy baby!
Babies are beautiful and precious and all that wonderful stuff. BUT that doesn't mean some babies aren't a pain, also. Ours has the double whammy of colic and acid reflux. These are such a helpful tool in soothing him when he's starting to get fussy. They're often a miracle worker when it's nap or bedtime--there have been times that the moment the pacifier enters his mouth, he passes out. Thank goodness for these Soothies! I also like that they come in different colours, so we can differentiate them (we were also gifted the blue/green pack with the bear ears which are cute, but I find that the extra surface area of the bear ears can be inconvenient and get caught on things). To clean, we usually wash with soap and water and throw in our sterilizer. They're tiny and cheap enough to stock up and stash around the house and in his diaper bag/stroller pouches/etc. CAVEAT: These are the only pacifiers we have ever tried, so I cannot compare these with any others. So we got lucky and/or these are just solid and effective pacifiers.

Love these !
Babies love these pacifiers. I’ve tried other brands but none are as soft or flexible. All my 3 kids who I didn’t breastfeed were always on these.

Worth it.
If you're like me, your lovely hospital gifted a couple of these to you. The the nurses you chatted up liked you so much that they insisted you take a couple more soothies. There was a moment when you thought, 'Wow, why on earth would I need four of these?', but the nurses insisted and gave you their wise knowing looks and you thanked them and went on your merry way with all four soothies. In fact, at this very moment I imagine you are now home and even though you have searched all around the crib, your bed, the couches, the sink, the car, under the cat, and the changing table that you are quite sure as soon as things settle you will be able to find the other three. I mean, after all, you can't possibly need two more, the very thought is ridiculous, right? And yet, here you are, just curious how much a couple extra would cost.Well I'm going to be completely frank with you and answer a few questions a long the way. Yes, these are the same as the advent ones you got in the hospital. More than likely your baby will not take to the cuter ones if he/she loves these. It is possibly to train them to suck their finagers instead, at a later time, if that's what you would prefer. These come in different sizes for different sized mouths, select according. If you are nursing he/she will still prefer your nipple to these, but these will do in a pinch. And, yes, you do need six. For my final bit of honesty, having six won't mean that you will ever necessary know where more than one is at a time, but it will drastically increase your odds. In the end, that's why you're really here right? Any quantifiable amount of time not spent desperately searching to find a paci/soothie/lovi/binky (or whatever it's called at your house) is absolutely worth it.

Great pacifiers!
These are the same pacifiers newborns are given in the hospital and the best for young babies, teething, and to use if you're breastfeeding. It mimics the nipple so babies can practice latching on to your breast. The pediatrician recommended using these pacifiers and putting our finger through the pacifier so that the pacifier would be a little bit more firm. It's supposed to soothe the baby as well as satisfying their rooting reflex after they are full. They are easy to clean, either put them in the dishwasher or boil them to sterilize them. They are basically indestructible and have a little slot on them to tie a pacifier holder to. My son loves these, he is so content sucking on them. We have tried other brands but these are his favorite. Other than breastfeeding they are the only things that gets him to sleep.
