Natural Vitamin C Powder with Acerola Cherry 500mg

Update: The company responded right away after I made my original rate. I increased it to four starts because of this. They refunded my money, and gave me a bottle from a new batch. I like the new batch better. It doesn't smell as bad and doesn't make stuff taste as bad as the other one did. I still don't like it on its own, but I use it to put in my and my kids's smoothies.I must have misread how much came in this, or maybe I just overlooked it. The container is tiny compared to how much I paid for it. I have a hard time swallowing pills, so I always try to buy my vitamins and supplements in either a powdered form, liquid, or chewable, so when I saw this and read the reviews, I thought I was doing good. That and I don't mind spending a lot of money on vitamins, if I'm getting a good quantity and quality. I thought, hey $30, if I spend that much, I shouldn't need to buy anymore in a while. When I received it, I realized that I was sadly mistaken. Then, I was like, Oh well, at least it should taste good and be of good quality. The first time I had some, I mixed it with my cranberry juice (I like to mix my other vitamins in juices and stuff too), when I took a drink of it, it tasted like my juice had gone bad. I chalked it up as maybe those two shouldn't be mixed together, so the next time I mixed it with just water. As soon as I put it up to my mouth, I noticed that it had a fish smell to it. I had my husband smell it, he said he didn't smell it, so I proceeded to still drink it, thinking that it was just me, but no. It tasted disgusting! I don't know if I just got a bad thing of it or what, but I will not be using it again or buying it again. My husband said that he will try it as well. I will update when he does and see if he agrees or not.

The taste is a mix between sour and herbal. Not sweet at all. Don't expect to be sipping on this. I usually mix it with 4oz of water and drink it with my daily vitamins/supplements. Although the taste isn't great, it's doable. It doesn't mix that great, to fully dissolve taked about 2-5min. I usually just mix it up real quick with the spoon and drink it down regardless of if it fully dissolves. I do like that this is a more natural way of getting your vit c and it includes other benefits with different sources of ingredients. It looks small but the dosing is small as well.

I have purchased many vitamin C products and I am very happy with this product. The ingredients are the most important thing and from my experience plant base is the way to go. I can definitely tell the difference after taking this product and really in the end that is what it is all about.

I have tried a lot of different vitamin C products and always find them to either be too sweet or leave a bad taste in my mouth from sweeteners. This product is different. Very palatable. The ingredients are good, I love that it does not have GMO products and that it is made in the USA.

I love this Vitamin C powder. Sometimes it can be so hard to find a Vitamin C product that has zero sugar. Everything on the market these days is packed with sugar. We give this to our kids and take it ourselves. Vitamin C is so important right now, especially with all that's going on.

I really love this vitamin C powder. It has a very mellow taste that's pleasant and has zero chemical or artificial aftertaste. I genuinely felt better after taking it. Mixes easily in water or juice. Also makes a nice addition to smoothies.
