Don't believe what people say negative about this light online. My garden loves it you have to place it a lit bit higher than the book says but they exploded with growth over a few days after I replaced an old light with this one. The one it replaced was three times as expensive than this one. Sometimes you pay for just a name not with viparspectra, with viparspectra you pay for results period 💯 thanks to viparspectra for making a quality light affordable. As soon as you open it you can tell the quality of the leds are a better quality than other brands an the housing is not cheap flimsy metal it's very thick durable metal. I like the heat sinks an how there is space between the housing an the meanwell driver so it runs cooler. I really like the adjustable dimmer. also the weight of the light Is so light compared to other more expensive lights. The performance of this light is so good you may need to turn it down a notch cause it's very intense. I recommend this light 💯

i'm running it on a smart plug (16 on/8 off), and it provides ample light for my houseplants (500 ppfd about 10 -12" distance at 50% power - measured with photone app) without any adverse effects. i could probably raise it to 75%, but my plants seem quite happy right now. i've mostly used barrina t5s for my plants and they've worked pretty well, but this is a big step up. i also have a mars hydro ts1000 and this p700 is giving it some pretty good competition. also, viparspectra customer service was real cool in answering some questions i had prior to purchasing, which motivated me to pick this up. will probably get another one of these in the very near future. pros: bright af w/ 4 position dimmable brightness (best feature) included accessories (hooks, pulleys) fairly light low heat (like, not hot at all) quality housing/build cons: no daisy chain (totally fine for my needs though)

I’ve been using the VIPARSPECTRA P700 Grow Light for my indoor setup, and I’m beyond impressed with the results. The build quality is excellent—sturdy, well-designed, and easy to hang with the included adjustable ropes. The full-spectrum lighting is perfect for every stage of growth, from seedlings to flowering. My plants have responded incredibly well—healthier leaves, stronger stems, and noticeably faster growth. The brightness is powerful (11,000 lumens) yet adjustable with the dimmable feature, which is a huge plus because I can fine-tune the intensity depending on the stage of growth.

I am beyond impressed with this light. (And so are my plants!) The adjustable output and ability to daisy-chain lights together is awesome. It is very well built and has a sturdy overall design. It covers a very good area for the size and price. Highly recommend this light! Update: I'll continue to rave about this light! My Chinese Hibiscus was looking terrible under my old grow light. It was hanging on for dear life.. but with this new light - Look at this flower!! Within weeks I had tons of new flower buds!! No fertilizing, no extra steps, nada - just the proper lighting! Get one of these for your plants that require bright full sun.

These lights work exactly like they're supposed to. I've never had any problem. They are the only lights I use for my grow tent. The only problem I had was the bundle came with a set of heavy duty hangers for an extra $8 that I don't need. The light comes with the hangers. I tried to send the hangers back but will only get a $2.21 refund. Mt old man said to just keep it. This sucks! Now I'll have one more unusable item laying around.

I purchased a couple of the spider farmer lights with the Samsung LEDs after I had the mars hydro light for about a year or so. all of them the smaller 100W variants. Reading around and doing research, looking at product reviews endlessly- exhaustively trying to make the best choice. The mars light after 2 grows ( short grows with autos) 1/4th of the panel failed. Support was responsive but in the end wanted me to pay for a new light with a 20 percent off discount, this is well within their warranty period. The build quality seemed sub-par after getting the spider farmer lights. In the end, the mars light ran really hot ( I had no idea) and heated up a 6'x6' space to the point of needing excessive ventilation. The Spider farmer lights have a good quality feel and build quality and ran MUCH cooler, to the point It was about 90% less ventilation required. I went with them due to the name brand LED ( samsung) lights as everything pointed to them being much better. Overall after receiving THIS light, It kind of put it all into perspective for me. This 240W light outperforms (3) of the 100W lights from Spider farmer BY FAR. It also runs much cooler and is insanely bright, the plants love it! Overall, I am not going to pretend I know anything about the differences in the brands of LEDS and all of that. I do know that these " no name" LEDS on this unit are far superior in terms of cost and performance in comparison to the Samsung bulbs from my perspective. I get much deeper penetration growth, less stretching and much denser "fruit" in the exact same conditions. It's kind of shocking actually. The build quality of this unit is fantastic, the way it hangs and the lower heat it puts off, all of it down to the mean well driver they use. It does run hotter than the Spider Farmer lights, but the plants seem about "50%" more happy with this light. Maybe that is the difference, the efficacy of the light corresponds to the power wasted as heat, I am not sure. But for 240 watts at $130, compared to 300 watts of Spider farmer at $220, the spider farmer loses for sure. The only real thing I cannot attest to is the warranty/support of this brand or spider farmer, as well as the useful life of the products. time will tell, but overall I am glad I am not falling for the " hype" of "name brand" LED units. I see the results, I feel the results, I weigh the results on a scale. These units work fantastic, even better than the higher priced " name brands". Sorry mars and Spider Farmer but I think at this point all you have going for you is your name and all of the hype around the " Samsung" LED's. If I can pay half the price for twice the light and "fruit", I don't see why you couldn't either.

I have two of these, and they have performed extremely well through 4 grows. These units are very well made and I have had zero performance issues. Units get warm but not hot, so heat is not an issue. Very well priced and the items were very well packaged; no damage because of faulty packaging. Frankly, I can’t think of any downsides to these units; I really do recommend them.

For anyone looking for top quality lighting without breaking the bank or guessing how long it’ll work, choose this light. Great performance at nearly 50 cents per watt.
