Perfect replacement for our E200 that the kids have used for years. Originally finally died...this was a simple, exact replacement that brought their scooter back to life. Have had installed for over a month...works perfectly.

This motor is somewhat longer than the original, which made it more difficult to get in to the proper position. The mounting holes lined up properly, but were threaded, with protrusions on the mounting surface that spaced the motor too high. I had to drill out the threads and grind off the protrusions. The cable came out in a different place from the original motor, so routing the cable was a little difficult. After getting the motor in, it worked fine. It has 2 or 3 hours on it currently and performs well.

The motor was good. the mounting bracket not so much. I had to ream a hole in order to get it to bolt up. It does run good other than that.

My 13 year old son "messed up" his other motor by jumping the scooter on the curb. BOYS! He was able to install the new motor almost by himself. Works great now!

i should have noticed that this replacement motor wasnt what i needed but the model was the same. i was pretty upset to find an important difference between the original motor and the replacement. a few have had this same issue, somewhere down the line from the original models it was changed over from a belt driven shaft to chain driven. i didnt notice this till i had the new one in hand and got the scooter apart and seen the this...it took a bit of doing but what i ended doing was take the old bell housing out of the shell and put it in the new one(a magnet came out of place in the old one). not for a novice to attempt at all doing this and was uneccassary work but i wasnt about to spend another 50 on the right one or deal with the return process time is money. most people won't even bother to read this review or even attempt this work around but just be warned if you have one of the early built e200 models.

works good for my bicycle generator project! the shaft could be straighter but hey its from china what do i exspect..
