Shiva Moon

This CD is something I love to relax to. Its wonderfully rich, Oriental qualities are enhanced by Western touches, and its varying tempos are refreshing to a stressed mind.It has the effect of really GROWING on you, the more you listen to it. The vocals are mostly wordless, and enhance the music as added "instruments" giving even more depth to these original compositions, so beautifully arranged for the various instruments utilized -- some traditional Indian and some Western.For those of us who enjoy "something different" as well as something with a lounge-type chill-out beauty, this is a great one to try, and I recommend it heartily!

Prem Joshua is the man. Maneesh de Moor grounds the sound. I love this style of music.

This beautiful ambient music is testament to the cosmic evolution the world is witnessing. There is a special balance between the electronic sounds of Maneesh de Moor and Prem Joshua's Hindustani music. This music creates harmonious, blissful space.

Simply genious. This is the best fusion music I have ever listened to. Bolo Hari is incredible itself. It is amazing what Prem Joshua can do with the drums. We are waiting for him to come to the USA!

Shiva Moon ist eine meiner absoluten lieblings CD'sHervorragende indische Musik, abseits vom verkitschtem Bollywood Sound.Kann die Musik von Prem Joshua nur jedem empfehlen, der auf diese Art von Muisk steht.Ich habe fast ALLE CD's von diesem Musikerhöre beinahe täglich seine Musik.Absolut empfehlenswert !!!Ein MUSS !

Just a sheer delight.Indian music and new age meet dance with Prem Joshua, a hugely talented European on sitar playing electronic chillout dance.The songs, melodies and some of the instrumentation are all the sort of thing you might hear on a Shakti, Trilok Gurtu, L Shankar or - especially - a Ravi Shankar CD, but with a Bombay Dub twist, and the recipe is delicious..The recordings, by the way, are excellent too. Particularly the Tablas, which resonate beautifully at times, and the Sitar, which is filtered through a beautiful sheen of light.
