The information Amazon provides about this chart is a tad misleading. First of all, this isn’t a four page book. It’s a two page chart with a cover and a back. It folds out like a folder and would sit neatly on a sheet music stand. But it’s just two pages of heavy tag board - and it’s NOT laminated either; mine arrived torn! It’s black and white on the inside and uses the most basic of notation. If you’re not already familiar with block chords and basic chord composition, this will offer little help. Essentially it’s a visual reference for students and players already familiar with the fretboard who know their note placement.Overall it IS a good, thorough chart, but it’s sorely in need of a modern reissue - this was first published in 1971 and I don’t think they’ve done a single update since!You could do worse, but for $6 you’d be better off going to google images and just printing any average chord chart you find there at home.

bought this for my grandson, he enjoys this very much and says this chart is very helpful to him. Anyone looking to learn Bass guitar should buy this chart.

Not quite what I expected. Every note of a chord cannot be used when you only have 4 strings.

For someone wanting to learn how to play the bass guitar, this chart is not very helpful. The chart should give the beginner finger placement guide, fret location etc. Even though I have been playing bass for several years, to look at this chart from a beginners perspective, would be a bit intimidating.
