Original & UPDATED REVIEW
These gloves were under $20 so I didn't expect them to be anything special. I was thinking as long as they didn't kill my hands using them and I got at least a couple months out of them then they were worth it. Being so cheap, when they arrived I decided to scope them out first before putting them on. Looking them over, the quality didn't seem too bad. The material seemed okay, the Velcro strap appeared decent, they seemed well padded...but then I discovered both gloves were coming apart at the seams around the thumbs. At that moment, all hope was lost and I had no interest in trying them on...no point. I purchased these because of the positive reviews which seem legit but you know how that goes nowadays. My advice would be to pass on these.UPDATED REVIEW: So the company emailed me and apologized for the defective product. They were willing to refund my money (Amazon already had) and provide me with a replacement at no cost to me. This did impress me because that showed they cared about their customers on some level. I accepted their offer and received my replacement three days earlier than the expected date. This pair unlike the first, did not have any issues. Well, a minor imperfection in the stitching in one of the gloves but it was stitched all the way through just not in a straight line like the other so it was only cosmetic. With all that said, I want to re-review these gloves for what they are - budget boxing gloves under $20. They are a good deal for that. The weight is nice and they are comfortable. Padding is ample and the Velcro strap works well. As far as longevity is concerned, I am not sure yet since I haven't really used them much. These are my 4th pair of gloves and I don't just use one pair exclusively. Time will tell though. If you are looking for an inexpensive pair of gloves to hit the bag with for a short time, these would be suffice. As with any gloves, wrap up well. These gloves I would recommend for the cash and as long as you keep your expectations realistic, you won't be disappointed.

these work just fine and for the price are totally worth it
**Beginners only!**I can see how these gloves would be destroyed if someone who actually was sparring and competing with them, but if you just need padding to train and hit a bag with, these work just fine and for the price are totally worth it. I'm 5"4, 125lbs and the 10oz was just right.Rough guidance:140lb/5'5 = 14oz160/5'8 = 16oz180/6' = 18ozPros:- Well made and sturdy for light use. I've had them for about a month now and use 2/week has them in good shape still! Will update review with use.- Comfortable. with extra padding at the wrists to help reduce injury and keep your fist flush with your wristCons?I don't know if anything can truly be antimicrobial and antiodor... but if you leave these out to breathe on a balcony or where there's good airflow after use, it should be okay

1 star because somehow the product in the description and the product that most of the reviews are about is not the product that currently ships.The product description & features/details as well as most of the reviews are about black leather/vinyl boxing gloves; if you order this product now like I did, you actually receive blue wraps (long woven fabric strips for winding around your wrist and knuckles).It seems this product listing used to be something else, and most of the old information has stuck with the listing.

Awesome for the littler ones!
Really an awesome product at a perfect price. I myself do not box, however, I do have younger cousins that enjoy martial arts, and I wanted something for them to play around with that they could use outside and something that was cheap so that I would not be sad if it got destroyed. Too many kids are inside, and this was an awesome way to get them outside to play.Product QualityThese are made of a vinyl/leather feeling material, and I am not really sure how they justify the $10 price. These are of an incredible quality, and the materials and workmanship are top notch. After letting my cousins play with them for a week, they have not begun fraying, but the "paint" on the gloves is smudged. I do believe that this happened because they were "punching" the brick wall of the house, but even the vinyl has held up and has no scratches on it.FitmentI am 6'4" tall, weigh about 235, and have really big hands. I bought both the 14oz and 16oz, and both fit my hand fine. My cousins are 7 and 9, and they have much smaller hands, easily half the size of mine, and they have no problem wearing these gloves. You can adjust the way they fit around the wrist, and they can fit small and large wrists with easy and flexibility.OverallI had no idea how much fun these would be. I have suggested these to my friends who also have younger family members, but also to a co worker of mine who I know has a kid that is very involved with martial arts. I brought them in to work, and he said he paid well over $50 for a pair of identical quality.I will update this review over time if they degrade, but if there is no update, it is simply because they have maintained their appearance and upheld their quality.
