Works great for different cars and trucks
This is a great scanner to have in your shop are just at home for your use and works on everything I have used it for so far. Have even used it on my tractor to get a close ideal of what might be going on. It seems to work on all model cars and trucks if you download the app for the vehicle you are working on. Some do cost to use the app but if you are going to be using it a lot it will pay off in the long run. Its pretty fast when you hook it up and with the right app can get pretty dead on. Very easy to reset codes and easy to use when you get it hooked up. And like I said before compatibility with a lot of different vehicles. Came in fast and was well package.

Works flawlessly
I purchased this OBD2/USB adapter to make some modifications to my F250 Super Duty with Forscan. It has been fully compatible with my truck and my Dell laptop and not only reads codes, but easily allows changes to be made via Forscan. Compared to the other similar devices it's a great value, and it appears to be extremely rugged construction. The first try plugging it into the truck and my laptop, it connected, read all the da ta and instantly allowed me to make th e changes I wanted to make. It has the MS/HS switch which I need for my truck and that switch seems as sturdy as the rest of the adapter cable. It has worked flawlessly each time I've connected and made changes.

Good little device
Works great. I kept getting an error code reading “PCM has a custom tune” I had to erase the FORScan program from my laptop and go to FORScan.org the paper that came with the scanned says .net

Works for some, but not all, FORScan procedures
Apparently FORScan only supports certain OBD II adapters, and this isn't one of them. I was able to clear transmission adaptive tables, disable the key-in-ignition chime, and of course read trouble codes. When I tried to enter the PATS procedure to program a spare key, FORScan refused to enter the procedure due to not supporting the adapter.

Worked for all my needs
Worked flawlessly and quickly using FORSCAN on a Windows 11 PC and connecting to my 2012 Ford Focus (Titanium, Hatchback, 2.0L I4) with both HS and MS CAN. I used this to switch my lowbeam type in the BCM to not give the dipped lowbeam fault after putting led lowbeams in. It was tricky figuring out how to use the software but this device gave me no problems on it'd end. Compared to other ELM327 OBD adapters out there, this was definitely worth the ~$20 price point I paid for it.

Got forscan downloaded on my laptop. Went to use this product and it wouldn't connect.

Compatibile perfettamente con Ford Mondeo MK4 2009 SW usando ForScan. Appena collegato e connesso il veicolo ,Forscan segnala che il prodotto non è raccomandato x questo veicolo ma vi posso garantire che funziona perfettamente. Articolo valido come da descrizione. se alla connessione veicolo con Forscan ricevete il messaggio di errore di non connessione,basta commutare il selettore MS/HS e e la connessione verrà stabilita perfettamente.

Ich habe diesen OBD-II Adapter zunächst hier für unseren Ford Focus gekauft und war neugierig, wie gut die Version 1.5 mit MS/HS-Umschaltung funktioniert. Die Installation unter Windows verlief problemlos, die Verbindung zu Forscan und Elmconfig klappte auf Anhieb. Alle getesteten Funktionen wie Fehlercodes auslesen, löschen oder Modulanpassungen funktionieren zuverlässig – genau wie beschrieben. Interessant war, dass das exakt gleiche Produkt auf eBay etwas günstiger angeboten wird. Optisch unterscheiden sie sich nur minimal: die MS/HS-Beschriftung fehlt beim eBay-Modell, und eine Software-CD liegt bei. Funktional gibt es keinerlei Unterschiede. Fazit: Ein solides, professionelles Diagnosegerät für Ford-, Lincoln- und Mazda-Modelle ab 1996. Wer auf Nummer sicher gehen möchte, kann ohne Bedenken hier bei Amazon zugreifen – zuverlässig, unkompliziert und mit voller Funktionalität. v.m.
