I didn't write a review sooner because I bought it to use with the DVD player along with the headrest mount that I also purchased recently from Amazon. I took my 4 granddaughters and their 3 toddlers to Chicago this past weekend just for fun. It takes 4 hours to get there and anyone who would be in that situation would realize that you are going to need some/a lot of help to survive that long with 3 little ones. The DVD player was the perfect answer and really helped to keep them quiet. I needed the adapter because they all had to be in the back seats. I did have another DVD player because I had to rent a 12 passenger van for all the luggage, strollers, etc. No problem with the adapter. Anyway, I would like to say that "a good time was had by all" but that would be less than accurate. It was mostly fun and we learned that we probably should wait a few years before we attempt it again.

The reason I bought this was for a DVD player for my granddaughter. She was going on a long road trip with my son and daughter in law and I knew the DVD player would help keep her occupied. When I had the DVD up this came as a "plus deal" with the DVD player. I thought great, they can plug it in and go. Wrong! The charger did not work with the DVD player!?!?! Why present it with something it will not work with???? Word to the wise... Don't just assume the products work together!

Works as described and the cord is plenty long to reach up front if need be in our vehicle. We are going to purchase another cord for a different DVD player as once we received this one for the Ematic 9" portable DVD players we realized it will work for our previous DVD player that the cord broke.

I have not used it yet. But it came on time & fits the plug in. So unless it doesn't work....great item!I'll update if it does not work.

It is plenty long enough but doesn't fit snug into the hole so you have to be very careful not to bump it or you have to start all over with playing a dvd. Not ideal for a very impatient 2 year old wanting to watch Mickey Mouse.

I purchased to portable DVD players for my boys. The batteries on the players last for a little over 2 hours, so I purchased 2 power cord adapters for long trips. They work very well and are a perfect fit. Great product and even better price.
