LG G4 Battery Case, ZeroLemon LG G4 8500mAh TriCell Extended Battery + Soft TPU Full Edge Protection Case (Compatible with All LG G4 variants) (4897010519648)

I recently made the jump from iPhone to Android and I wanted to go with a good Android phone that had a replaceable / extended battery option & an sd Card slot, so I chose to go with the LG G4.I sometimes go to events and I like to be able to record in full hd video with my phone but with the stock iPhone or Android battery it just wouldn't last. I wanted to be able to run my bluetooth headset all day to listen to music, watch a couple of movies, shoot some hd video, take pictures, text, make phone calls, and do facebook with heavy usage throughout the day without my battery dying as it did on my old iPhone6 and with my stock Android battery.This battery so far will last me ALL day long doing all the things mentioned above with heavy usage throughout the day. To give you an example of what I was able to do with this battery let me explain my day of heavy usage.I started using my phone at about 8:30 am with a full 100% charge by listening to music paired with my bluetooth wireless headset (jaybirds). I did this till about 12pm. I then got on a bus to travel to Houston for a concert which took 3 1/2 hours to drive. During the bus ride to Houston I watched two HD movies on my phone still using my bluetooth headset. When I got to Houston it was back to music time starting at about 4pm. I walked around downtown Houston just listening to music while I waited for my concert to start. At 7pm I arrived at the concert turned on Airplane mode at which point I stopped listening to music and began taking photos while also shooting various 5 to 10 min video clips. All in all I shot about 45 min worth of video at the concert. At midnight the concert ended I called a cab and started listening to music again. I also started to upload some of the photos and videos I took at the show to facebook. I then went to go eat and headed to my bus ride back to town at about 3am. On the bus ride back I watched one more movie and then just listened to music. I got back to town around 6:30am. I called a cab kept listening to music and got home with 20% battery life still left on my phone.I would have never been able to do this with my iPhone or Android using stock batteries. I would normally have to carry around a charger plus the phone but with this ZeroLemon battery I no longer need to bother with carrying around an extra device and waiting to recharge my phone.I think the real test now is to see how long this battery will last with this kind of performance.Btw in case anyone is wondering as this was a concern of mine when I bought this battery package. The speakerphone works perfectly fine with this. Others reported that the battery covers the speaker and the new case doesn't give it enough room to be able to hear from it. I have had no issues with the sound from my speakerphone and I don't need to have it turned all the way up. Volume at 50% works fine for calls when needed.One other thing I want to mention is if you wish to use this phone with this battery I recommend getting the RetiCAM® Smartphone Tripod Mount with XL Conversion Kit - Metal Universal Smart Phone Tripod Adapter - Standard Plus XL Conversion Kitso you can mount it to a steady cam or selfie stick because most smartphone mounts can't accomedate for the 3/4" thickness that his phone will be with the ZeroLemon battery & case.If I run into issues with this battery later such as holding a charge etc. I will report back here but so far it's meeting my expectations.

The media could not be loaded.  ZeroLemon have been in the extended battery business for a while and I'm glad they turned their attention to the LG G4. This particular battery is, what I like to call, a thick battery for a large capacity. The idea is simple, thickness and weight take second place to having as much power storage as you can. Good thing then that thickness and weight are preferences. Sure, phone manufacturers would have you believe everyone wants the thinnest phone, but, extended battery review reader, I think you and I are both in the category of "let's have a big phone that lives longer than 6hrs".The battery kit is actually an extended battery (think a stock battery with a large rectangular cube on the back) and a TPU case to hold it onto the phone. You don't actually use a clip on phone backing, the case is the backing.Ok, on with the testing. The initial charge straight out the box was over a day, the second charge was easily a day and half and the third was getting on for two. That's without changing habits (e.g. I used Google Maps, Wifi, Bluetooth, Games, the Camera as much as I always did) and I disabled power sharing. You can see the stats in the video.I did all my recharging with fast chargers. Even when the battery was empty and I had the phone on and in use as I charged, it only took about 4hrs to recharge in the most unfavourable conditions for charging. I'm completely cutting to the "how can I make this as difficult as possible for the battery" scenarios here, if you're one of the people that goes all out to preserve your battery etc, you're going to see much longer battery life and shorter charging times.Overall I'm impressed. It made my phone 18mm thick and 279.9g heavy. If you can live with that (you can), then this is the battery for you.Pros:* Huge 8500mah capacity* Fast Charging supported* TPU case included (and it's a nice matt material with a slight bevel to protect the screen)* All the phone functions except NFC still workCons:* NoneNotes:* The case does not have an NFC antenna so that's not going to work. It should be noted that this is common for most external batteries as the LG G4 mounts the antenna on the back on the stock case.I was given a sample in exchange for an honest opinion.

Yes, the battery really does work and you'll almost never need a phone charger during the day if you charge at night. This works wonders if you're always on the run or take a lot of photos and videos with social media.Downside. Both times I have owned these batteries (one for LGG4 and another for an older phone) they don't even last a year before the phone refused to acknowledge the battery or it mysteriously stops fitting in the slot despite about 9 months of use.You do need to pay attention to the battery maintenance.The case it comes with is great. Only downsides are the lack of screen protection and the nobs under the spots for the buttons may get stuck, it isn't often but it is annoying.I would happily order again if they can fix the issues with the battery somehow growing or it spontaneously dying. Until then, I will leave my rating at a 4 with hope this will improve. They seem to be designed to stop working within a few weeks after your "warranty" is up.I have contacted customer support and received a more professional version of "tough Excrement" back. *shrugs*

The main drawback is that you need to put the extended battery inside the phone in order to charge it - I'd prefer I could just charge it separately and use my phone with its own battery during this time. For me the extended battery is an additional gadget, not the inseparable part of my phone, it's rather bulky and catches a lot of attention. Therefore it would be good if it had a charging option without my phone. But the battery life is great!

Great but neds belt holst

This battery was from the USA so incurred tax and import duty.Following several dischages and full recharges it never manged more than 1 day on mild to low use, battery failed and did not work at all within 7 days.A real waste of time and money
