Mami KF7 All in One Robot Vacuum (Titanium)

This robot vacuum is awesome! It saves me a lot of time. It does not get every speck off the floor, but it does a pretty darn good job and requires little to zero effort on my part. I like that it has different modes, and the remote is handy. We have not set up the schedule, and only used the dry cloth function once. I think the dry cloth function would work well if you sprayed the dirty spots and then directed "mami" over them using the remote.Wish I could purchase one for all my friends and family.

So I recently found out that the reason for my lagging dry cough was due to dust allergies. Apparently, I developed dust allergy recently and my doctor recommended that I should frequently vacuum my carpet floor. But who has the time to vacuum daily?After some research, I've found out that Mami has the biggest market share in South Korea. Since I trust household products from Korea (e.g., Samsung, LG, etc.), I've decided to give a Mami KF7 a try over a Roomba.Quite possibly the best decision I've made in 2014!I literally turn this machine on every night while I sleep - I set the mode so that it vacuums until the battery is out. Usually 4 out of 5 nights, it is back to its home base charging. It's quiet and highly effective. Every morning, I wake up to see a carpet floor nicely vacuumed - especially love that feeling when you first set your foot on the vacuumed carpet. Also, I appreciate how easily you can remove the dust container and wash it with water. Absolutely simple to use. It's elegant and does exactly what I need to do.If I have one suggestion, it'll be nice if I can control the machine through my android phone. While I am work, it'll be nice to have it vacuum at a specific set time - especially if I am expecting a guest at home.Overall, I highly recommend this product. By the way - about my dust allergy issue - it greatly helped with my dry coughs. I've noticed that I tend to cough a lot when I return from work or early in the morning. Either entering into my home which may be dusty or morning when the dusts are more prevalent in the air. Whatever it is, this vacuum helped greatly. Absolute must for dust allergic people.

At first, I was a little skeptical about Mami Robot because it kept bumping into edges and furniture and continuously changed its direction. However, as the Mami Robot moved around the house more frequently I was quite surprised at its intelligence. It seems to recognize the floor plan and the area better each time I run it. The frequency of bumping into edges and furniture subsequently reduced after 3-4 cycles. I have two little kids that require me sweeping the hardwood floor everyday. Now thanks to Mami Robot, I only need to pick up toys and tidy up the floor before I put Mami Robot to work. It saves quite a bit of my energy and cleaning time.I was quite impressed how much mami robot cleans the under the couch and furniture where it was hard to reach with other vacuums. I don't see any more of dust bunnies and crumbs that kids have dropped. Yippee!!! After Mami Robot finishes sweeping, I only need to pick up few things Mami Robot hadn't sucked up using the handheld vacuum that came along with Mami Robot.I have a 1,800 sq.ft. house with hardwood floor throughout. My two kids are good eaters and constantly spill juice and food. Mopping the floor used to be one of my least favorite things to do around the house. But not any more!!! I only need to do spot cleaning the area with stubborn stains while the Mami Robot is at work. It comes with 5 reusable/ washable microfiber dust cloths. It is very easy to use. I just need to moisten the cloth with hardwood floor cleaner and change it occasionally. Only downside I've found was that half of the cloth contacts the floor surface. I've figured out to turn the cloth around and use the clean part. =)I didn't' expect to fall in love with the handheld vacuum until I tried. Crumbs and dust between cushions in the couch was such a headache. This handheld vacuum works flawlessly and picks up everything around the edges and corners. It also sweeps the wood plantation shutters beautifully. Its expandable/ adjustable nozzle sucks most of the dust in between the wooden slats.All the parts are manufactured and assembled in Korea is a plus. Multiple functions in remote control (mop, low noise, corner, focus, hair) are quite handy also. Recharging time is surprisingly short compare to other regular vacuums and it runs up to 2 hours. Maintenance is pretty easy with disposable filter. After sweeping, I simply toss the used filter into the trashcan and wipe the dust bin with a baby wipe.I've been using the Mami Robot for about a month now and our house looks so much cleaner. Well done, Mami Robot!! Highly recommend it for anyone with kids, pets, and hardwood floor.

I don't normally post reviews on items i buy because i'm lazy and can't be bothered. I will only waste my time if its really great product or it's so bad that i need to warn other buyers so they don't have to experience my frustration and disappointment.By the way, I brought this vacuum robot in other e-stores.This robot is a big let down, after it was delivered to me, it was working fine for a few days. After about a week it started to have this 'E3' error (wheel problem error) , and it just goes in circles whenever you start and stops after a minute. The e-store i bought it to did not even bother to reply to my queries. After researching the product via google and in the e-store, it seems that the problem is very common. Most buyers experience the same issue with it. It was my fault that i haven't researched the product before buying as it was a time limited sale. I'm willing to fix the problem myself if i can find more info but sadly i can't find it on the net.So be aware of this problem if you intend to buy the product, don't throw away the box so you can return it if it gives you the same trouble. I threw away the box a few days after i brought it thinking it was ok. That's why i was unable to return it.
