Great taste!! I loved this olive oil. I was looking for a genuine olive oils and not those blends that says to be pure olive oil. After several fails I found this one that has been the best by far, with a great taste and sharp smell you can really feel the true olives in there. It’s like a treat for your self.

The Alto Olivar oil was pretty great. It is fruit-forward and light and fresh tasting with a light herbal and peppery finish. This oil isn't nearly as peppery as a Greek variety. I find it a nice balance - it isn't overly pungent and has a nice balanced feel to it. It is just as good as a light cooking oil as it is raw, drizzled on top of your soup, in your salad dressing, or for dipping bread in. The size is great too for those who go through a lot of oil and the dark-tinted container will keep light out of your oil, though you should be storing it in a dark, cool place anyways so it doesn't go rancid. All in all I'd give this oil a high rating.

Delicious extra virgin olive oil! The flavor starts mild, then grassy/herbaceous, and then ends on a super peppery note. Works great for dipping fresh Italian bread, for making vinaigrettes, and drizzling over steam vegetables and over hot soups. Comes in a tinted bottle with protects the integrity of the oil. Will be transferring the oil into smaller squeeze bottles, my preferred way to use olive oil.

Amazing product! The olive oil tastes really good you’ll end up eating it just with bread to really appreciate the taste and smell! You can clearly see it is a high quality product from it’s color and smell, once I tasted it I loved it! Gonna be using it for salads and foccacias!

Very bland taste. Perhaps stale. No harvest date and no certifications of quality. I was looking forward to this one because I heard that Chile and Australia have the highest standards for olive oil. Now I have this huge bottle of what tastes like sunflower oil to me. Maybe it was stored in a hot place. Who knows. Going back to the more expensive but delicious Australian olive oil after this...

Low acid, no bite, full flavor, and wide range of use, from dipping bread to cooking. Chilean olive oil has been my secret weapon in the kitchen for years but it's difficult to stay with one brand for some reason. This Alto Olivar is by far the best I've found to date.
