100 Favourite Animal Songs And Rhymes [DVD]

I have a 22 month old son, who is normally not at all interested in sitting down to watch tv and look after a 17 month old boy and they both love the dvd. The songs are cut short, but this is perfect for toddlers who have short attention spans. I wouldn't play the whole dvd at once, but it works well when you have a little time to fill.

Great DVD, my 18 month old girl loves this! its a good mix of cartoon rhymes and actually videos of real animals like ducks horses sheep etc.. which she loved. She seems to have picked up alot of animal noises from this DVD and knows what comes next!

Keeps 6 month old daughter entertained for hours and she will grow with it. Some songs need to be longer as just get into them & they end but well recommended.

My 16 month old baby boy loves this dvd. It is the first thing he has ever sat and watched all the way through. The animation is great and it also combines footage of real animals. The songs are catchy and well sung.I'd definitely recommend it!

One of a set of five DVDs that my Special Needs Grandkids love (FIVE Stars from them) but you will find a lot of duplication across four of the five; the other is fairy stories (see review on that!).

My son loves this DVD I am about to buy some of the others from the series. It has a lot of variety, it's jolly, bright and fun. It's great value.

I was counting on other peoples reviews in order to find something for my 2 year old. He was given a DVD of French songs and it has been HUGELY successful. Each song is a separate chapter so he can choose which one he wants to see and can watch the same one over and over and over again, until he knows the words and understands what is happening on the screen. I wanted the same thing with English songs and nursery rhymes which was why I bought this DVD. I needn't have bothered.The songs are sung FAR too fast, so that even I had a hard time keeping up and it was just a blur for my son. In addition, they are not complete and everything just runs into each other so he cannot just watch whatever is interesting to him. We do not have a television and I don't believe in plonking a child down in front of a DVD either while I do something else. Watching a DVD is an interactive business, something we do together so we can sing the songs together and discuss the images. That is not possible with this DVD. It is a lovely idea, and the graphics and images don't have to be well done for a child, but it must be at a childs pace.Don't bother with this if you actually want your child to learn something.

My son had 100 Favourite Bedtime Songs & Rhymes and he loved it, but this 100 Animal Songs & Rhymes is not as good as that one and he didn't like it.
