I like that the cover feels to be thin and the material sounded very noisy when I took it out of the box and upon placing it on the mattress. I didn't want a thick mattress cover since I bought an expensive mattress solely for the cooling phase change material on the surface and would like to be able to protect my mattress without compromising that feature so I opted for this one. After putting my regular fitted sheets on top the noise did go away and I didn't hear anything while moving in bed. Since I have bamboo bedsheets they are also another cooling factor to my bed so I'm not sure if that significantly changes anything. I do feel slightly hotter at night, but it isn't too bad. The weather did recently change as well to be fair since we are approaching the summer months. My partner however, does complain every night that he is extremely hot at night and sweaty since adding the protector so to each their own? I will be keeping the protector since I do like it a lot due to it's thinness. As far as water resistance, I have not tested for it because I know the only water it will be resisting is my partner's sweaty back so if you are looking for something that will repel a pool of water I don't think I would recommend this. I would only use it for protection against normal wear and tear and minor accidents.

The fit is excellent and very comfortable

It is water resistant, can be thrown in the washer and in the dryer. The outer material is cotton-like, so it is soft, may have a light friction sound, and the inner one is nylon-like that’s why it is water resistant. I am not sure if it’s breathable or not coz I don’t use it on my kids cribs.

Giving this 4 stars because its accurate to description, but its just 'okay' in my mind. I chose this smooth cover over the terry-cloth version because I didn't want the terry-cloth poof under my sheets. If I could do it all over again, I think I would have gotten the terry-cloth version for noise reduction. These are certainly not "noiseless," but its not a disruptive noise. I can definitely tell there's a plasticy material under my fitted sheet, so if you're going for a fluffy, silent, sleeping on a cloud type bed, this might make you cringe when you get in. However, it doesn't disrupt the texture of the bed, its more like I can hear my sheets slip across it. (I don't actually know how noisy the terry-cloth version is, but I think there would be less of the slipping sheets noise.) I also water tested it and it lives up to the waterproof name. Only the top is waterproof, the fitted sides are a shear material and not waterproof. It fits nicely on a king size, but does tend to ride towards the center of the bed, slightly exposing the edges of the mattress, easy fix. I've been having to jump on my memory foam mattress daily for the last week for a good half hour to break it it. At 125 lbs, I've jumped all over the thing with this mattress protector on it and its held up nicely. Seems good quality. Easy to machine wash and air dry. I also got the pillow protectors and they seem to hold hair in the pillows. I keep them unzipped just a bit to release the air pressure. Overall, worth it to protect my mattress and pillows, although I'd recommend the terry-cloth version.

The mattress protector is thin, not very noticeable under the fitted sheet, and does not change the feel of my memory foam mattress (the warranty for which requires a mattress protector). I wish the top material was more cotton-like (it feels very artificial) and that the sides were made of better material, but it's not a big deal. The pillow protectors, however, are noticeable. It's not too disruptive and I will keep them because I think any waterproof pillow protectors will probably have a little bit of noise due to the nature of the material, but I was hoping they would be more quiet. Overall, however, they seem like they will do the job and are quite affordable for being waterproof as opposed to just plain cotton versions.

This was a great purchase. It is definitely waterproof, does not make noise or crinkle, and has washed and worn well. I have had it for over a year and ended up buying two more. I just wish they would go on sale more/ be a bit more affordable.

I picked up this mattress cover to protect my Purple mattress and it has been working well. When removing from the package it sounds as though it will be noisy to sleep on, but after a few nights I can confirm that it is silent
