Frogwill Girls' Two Pieces Kelly Fringe Bikini Swimsuit

The sizing definitely runs a little small but from reading other reviews I was prepared for that. The top is super cute; however, the bottoms are way inappropriate for a little girl. They are cut a little slim on the back side and they only tie at the sides...and not very securely. I bought this for my niece's Easter basket and would have sent it back but I did not notice they only tied until she wanted to try it on and she totally fell in love with the top. My Mom sewed the ties together to make them stay put and if they don't she will have to wear it with another bottom.

The pieces are not true to size.

I can only give this 4 stars although its a very nice bathing suit. I ordered the yellow/pink/green one and it is super pretty. First off, it is extremely bright colored and my daughter loves it. The fringes seem to be sewn good into the swim suit because we havent had a single one come undone. There is one that is a tab bit longer than the others but that doesnt bother us at all. The top ties around the back and the neck and adjust around the neck similar to a bra strap so you can adjust to the size needed. There is alittle padding in the top ((only in the XXL size)) but the fringes cover the breast area well and wont show anything that doesnt need to be shown. The top strap that goes around the neck is also detachable so you can make it strapless although my 8yr wont be wearing it that way. The bottom also ties on each side. The only negative that I have found with this swimsuit is the bottom is cut a bit smaller than I am comfortable with. It does show a bit on skin on each cheek. If it were for an older girl or woman it may not be a problem, but my child is 8, so naturally I want her to be as covered as possible which I know sounds odd since I ordered a bikini. Overall, we are very pleased with this swimsuit, my daughter absolutely loves it. The colors are bright and vibrant, material is soft and comfortable, and doesnt become see-through when wet ((was another original concern of mine but this swimsuit covers well)) the stitching is done well and durable. I highly recommend this swimsuit but would recommend purchasing a size larger because of the bottom being alittle small.I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. My daughter is 8 years old and tall for her age, so I made sure to get a size 10 to account for her long torso. She absolutely adores the suit, particularly the fringe. The top fits perfectly, but the bottom doesn't come up high enough to be appropriate for public swimming, specifically in the back (my child isn't a plumber, but she resembles one in these bottoms). She wears it every time we turn on the backyard sprinklers though! The material has held up well to washing and wearing. The colors are really cute; it's not as pink as the picture shows (it looks more red to me), but she likes that because she's not a big fan of pink. If she was older, I'd be less worried about the fit, but I'd like to keep her modest while I can.
