Pitted Castelvetrano Olives - 19 Ounce Jar

I did not like olives for 40+ years of my life, but I kept trying different ones because so many people like them that I was getting some serious FOMO! Then one day someone offered me one of these and BAM! I got it! Their buttery flavor, supple texture, and not “face blast” of salt was a turning stone for my now LOVE of olives! If you are like me and feel like you are missing out, TRY THESE!! I have had better Castelvetrano olives since, but they are extremely difficult to find! However , these Sanniti olives have been very tasty and incredibly consistent, so they have earned a spot in my pantry, which I replenish regularly.

The taste of these Sicilian olives was very good. They taste better slightly chilled and the brine that they were packed in was not overly salty or strong. The flavor is mellow and somewhat buttery but they were softer than I expected. I like my Castelvetrano olives with a little more “bite” than this brand and with less liquid brine in the container. I eat at least 10 of these olives every day as a healthy snack and I use the brine for cooking Italian and Spanish dishes. The size of the jar only resulted in 3 days of enjoyment though. Overall, I would purchase again

The olives just don't have that nutty taste - or, really, much taste at all. They're also very small, and a lot of them are pieces of olive, not an actual olive. They just don't taste right. Will not buy again.

My favorite type of olive. Firm and buttery smooth. Love that this brand is seedless as well. Great treat!

Best choice of my favorite green olives, the large juicy Castelvetrano. Priced competitively.

If you are not tossing these babies in your martini you don't know what you're missing! All that olivey flavor without all that nasty, vinegary brine. Unfortunately, they make me want to drink more martinis. Maybe that's not such a bad thing.
