flapper was difficult to install - would not fit as a replacment - immediately returned

Part arrived the next day. Easy to install. PROBLEM: Part was the correct flapper, however did not fix problem. This American standard tank #4120 developed a warped PVC drain seat. That is the part the flapper sits on. It can not be replaced. Needed a new tank. Plumber told me this is a recurring problem on this model tank. The replacement works great and is not an American Standard tank. Tank was $85.00

Sadly, the prongs to attach to the toilet are a quarter-inch farther apart than what they are supposed to attach to. Outside measurement 2 7/8" when I need 2 5/8".

Received item the next day. Appears and fits exactly like the original. Much cheaper than the local hardware store.
