Very nice belt after a couple days of use
I have only had it for a few days, but I really like it. Obviously, I have to wait several months to comment of durability. My issue with inexpensive belts (less than $20) is they don't hold up to use. The finish looks horrible, the holes (the ones used frequently) look bad, etc. The fact this belt has no holes looks to be a great benefit! Only time will tell if these hold to well to repeated use/abuse.The product arrived with buckle not assembled with the buckle. The length of the leather piece was 53.5 inches long with one end rounded (the end that will end up being the opposite to the buckle end) & the other end straight or flat. You insert the flat end into the buckle & push the small flap with sharp teeth on the leather to lock it in place. That is it. But the problem was, I have a 32.5 inch waist it was too long for the ratcheting mechanism to lock the belt in place. So you need to cut the flat end to make it smaller BEFORE attaching the buckle. The following is kind of obvious, but I still want to mention it - you DON'T want to trim the wounded end of the leather, but the flat end!I ended up making mine 45.5 inches long (without the buckle for it to work. So, based on my experience, you may want to consider making the length (without the buckle) of yours 13-14 inches longer than your waist size. I trimmed mine a bit at a time, attached the buckle, tested it in my waist, I repeated the process till it was exactly right. Again, the numbers will change a bit based on where you wear your pants sits on your waist. Start with waist + 17 inches and trim as needed.

no more buckle holes
These are just what I needed. No more trying to stretch the belt to the hole that is really needed to keep the pants in place. No more wear and tear on the holes in the belt. These come long but can be trimmed with a pair of scissors. They are marked for several sizes for easy trimming. I put it on and marked where I wanted it to end. The cut end goes into the buckle and the other end goes around the waist and through the buckle. On the underside of the belt is a series of rachets and you simply pull the belt to your desired tightness and the rachets hold it tight. No slipping. And they both look nice.

Clever design that works well
These belts are comfortable and convenient. Cutting to the desired length is easy and the buckle locks into the cut end firmly. The adjustment area is 195 mm long with 32 separate catch points so this belt can be adjusted to the exact fit that you want. Much better than a few widely spaced holes. The buckle works nicely, it holds well and can be locked and released instantly. I really like this design. I am not sure how sturdy the mechanism will prove to be over time, but so far they have worked great.

West Leather Goods belt set
This set of black and brown belt set is amazingly great. The quality and appearance of the front buckle are very nice. The price for the two belts is unbelievably cheap for the quality. Good bye to old type of finding a suitable hole for fitting. Adjusting the length after cutting the extra length is very easy. As an 80+ senior I could do it in 10 mts. Rachet arrangement is simple and neat. Strongly recommend. I was bit skeptical while ordering but am very pleased.GaneshanCentreville VA

Great belts
Definitely my new favorite belts. Most of my belts eventually split at where I bend it into the buckle, but for these there's no bending at all. It just slides very satisfyingly into the buckle with a nice ratchet sound. My only complaint is the ratchets should start a bit closer to the tip so that I don't have to have the pass through section as long. It's easy to cut the belt too short, not realizing where the lowest couple of ratchets are. Only take off half an inch at a time when you get to a close fit. One of the belts is a bit snug because I didn't realize where the ratchets started when cutting it to length.

Easy To Put On
I have other belts that are too wide to fit easily through the belt loops of my pants. Others are too thick or the tip is too blunt to thread easily through the loops. These are easy to slide on, which is more important that it might seem. Ratchet works well. When cutting the belt to size, cut off a little less than you think you should. Also, It woud be nice if the brown belt came with a matching brown buckle.

Works well, made well, but wish it were narrower
The belt is nicely made. Unfortunately, the buckle is a bit large and the belt too wide for my preference and digs into my skin sometimes, making it less comfortable than the one I happened upon at a local store that introduced me to ratchet belts which had worn out. Be careful not to cut it too short as the teeth that engage the lock do not go close to the end of the belt. I'll still keep it but will see if they have a slightly narrower one next time.

Best belt I have ever owned.
I was given a ratchet belt several year ago and was a little puzzled by it. It just seemed like a different mechanism but after just a little use it turned out to be a totally different experience. Super fast unbuckling and without those prepositioned holes of a normal belt, it is super adjustable for perfect comfort instantly every time.Unless someone invents something better, I will never own anything but a ratcheting belt in the future. It's that cool.
