Nice for D&D gamer
Gave this as a gift to a fellow D&D player in my group who plays a mage that always flies in battle. He had been using an empty dice box. I think the whole group & the DM will like this better because now he has a way to represent the actual height he is flying since I included a tiny clothes pin as suggested (not included, sadly.) It fits together ok, but can be improved in steadiness with a bit of clear glue. Nice that there's medium and large platforms included, in case you wanted to fly a large creature. I thank the maker for being brilliant!

Very good stands!
These are nice and solid. Used them at a convention several times and held up well to handling and the inevitable bumping of the table as people moved around repositioning minis. One thing I intend to do though is add a magnet to the top of each and then glue metal washers (or similar) to the base of the minis so that they "click on" and hold better for those times when there's a serious movement on the table.

Lots of fun
Easy to use and brought another dimension to our game play. Only complaint is that it is more fragile than it appears.

Great
Use these all the time. Love how I can write on them with wet erase. Makes it super easy to track height

The height marker wins the day
There are a bunch of clear acrylic “flight stands” available for various games. The big thing that sets these apart is the convenient height tracker built right into the stem. You just mark the elevation with a dry-erase marker (two are included) and you're good to go.

There are nice looking and functional flying stands for D&D minis
I am pretty happy that I purchased a set of these combat risers. They look nice and when they are assembled, seem sturdy enough to hold even metal minis of the corresponding sizes, though I admit I don't have any metal minis of the larger size. They can be disassembled and stored in a nice little plastic case (included) for storage and travel. My only two complaints about them are minor: 1. it would be nice if they could be a little cheaper. 2. The adhesive protective layer of plastic was REALLY difficult to remove. I was glad they were there to keep the pieces from getting scratched up, but it would be nice if somehow there was one corner with a tab or something that you could grab to peel off the protective sticker more easily. I could see myself buying another set someday for battles with more than two flying creatures, but as I said earlier, it would be nice if they could be a little cheaper without the quality suffering.

Not sturdy, not worth it.
It's not worth the buy. You read the reviews that talk about the larger stand being flimsy. Used it for the first time last night... yup. Its super flimsy, the mini can stand on it, but it's a balancing act and not good at all. Don't. Buy.

Looks great, but fragile.
The top plates don’t fasten too well and pieces broke while I was moving my DM box to/from the car. I had nothing in the box was over 3 lbs. Make sure to take apart and lay flat when packing. Nothing came with the item to mark the height. Maybe, have a dry erase marker ready?

Cool but hard to get together
These parts are just the right size to fit together making it difficult to go into the right slots
