Neverender: Children of the Fence Edition Explicit Lyrics

I've been a big fan of Coheed and Cambria for a number of years now. If you are a fan of progressive rock music and/or science fiction I would highly recommend that you give them a try. If you don't already have any of their albums, I would suggest starting with one of their studio albums ( Good Apollo , Year of the Black Rainbow , No World For Tomorrow , and  The Afterman  are some of my personal favorites).The Neverender concert series originally took place in 2008 in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and London. The event consisted of the band playing their first four album (one per night):  The Second Stage Turbine Blade , In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3 , Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness , Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow .If I had to summarize the Neverender: Children of the Fence Edition in one word it would be "phenomenal." Coheed and Cambria's first four albums are all fantastic. Personally I feel that each of the first four were better than the preceding albums. To my knowledge there are two versions of the Neverender boxed set (not including a limited hot topic promo):  Coheed and Cambria: Neverender  and the Neverender: Children of the Fence Edition (this version). The former is cheaper (around $17 new) and the latter is currently listed on Amazon anywhere from $75-$175.If you can afford (or can locate) a copy of the Children of the Fence edition of Neverender, this is the edition to get. The smaller 3 disc set is great (I owned it before I located a copy of the special edition), but the Children of the Fence edition comes with a number of bonuses beyond the DVDs. This edition contains:-5 DVDs of the concert (one of which is a documentary)-4 CDs from the concert-a 48 page book that holds the discs-and a beautiful 7.5" by 5.5" metal dragonfly.The concert DVDs and CDs are amazing. The mastering and overall quality are superb--better than many live albums I've heard in recent years. The music from Neverender shows the incredible growth that the band has shown over the years. I wasn't able to get to the original shows, but fortunately I get to enjoy the CDs and DVDs any time I want. This is currently one of my favorite live sets. I would highly recommend for fans of the band.

Neverender tells the complete story, start to finish, of Coheed & Cambria's Amory Wars saga across four epic nights of concert. A feat that they most certainly will not repeat. While they performed this four day marathon a handful of times, the best of these nights have been captured here for posterity. Being drawn to the music and the story, the CDs of each night seal the deal for this listener. One night equals one album plus the always fantastic Coheed & Cambria encores. For those who have never heard C&C live (or maybe any band?): It doesn't sound exactly like their studio albums. Every show has a unique feel and flow.The DVD footage is an enjoyable experience, but once viewed a time or two they'll stay neatly tucked away with the dragonfly and hardcover Neverender book. The bonus DVD is probably the only video item worth multiple viewings. That said, this is all bonus as the CDs of the Neverender are well worth the price of admission. The packaging is breathtaking, the extras abound. The decision to purchase for any Coheed & Cambria fan is an easy one at (almost) any price. It really is worth its weight in gold.

Barely going to address the cd's / dvd's (they're awesome), others have already done that in depth. Mainly wanted to comment on the packaging.The box set and book is very well done and of high quality. Unfortunately, it's near the size of a LP record and will not fit on a standard cd rack. Or even a non-standard cd rack.General request to anyone in the industry thinking of doing something elaborate like this; please include normal sized cd art/booklets/liners so that people can easily store their box set cd's with the rest of their music collection.

Big fan of this band but somehow managed to miss the fact this was even coming out until just 4 days before it was released (!)- luckily Amazon has it for the super price of $79.99US and a mere $7.90US to deliver to me in Australia thats more than half the cost its now retailing over here in stores. Anyway the package arrived quickly and safely and its truly amazing on every level. I won't reiterate what others have said suffioce to say its the greatest live package EVER by ANY band FULL STOP.THANKS A MILLION AMAZON and THE MIGHTY COHEED!

Amazing! excellent quality, the book, DVD's, CD's and metal dragonfly simply awesome!By the way, if you're reading this and you're not a USA citizen, don't worry Amazon it's the best online store. This is a great box set contain 4 live cd and 5 DVD with four first album playing live and plus DVD whit interview and backstage takes, plus contain a hard book with photos from the concert and a dragon fly in steel, very nice box set, great material and great presentation,moor fans of this band are scenically.

All of the discs worked perfectly but the box looked like it had been dropped on one of the corners. This may not bother some but I like to have all of my DVD cases in perfect condition so they look good on the shelf. No biggie though, I was able to repair it. Fast delivery as well.

This is great boxset! It was worth every penny. I love that the you get the audio as well as the video. The documentary is great. I love hearing about the real lives of the people whose art I admire. This is definitely worth the price!

Coheed And Cambria propose un superbe coffret ou le groupe interprète l'intégralité de ses quatre premiers albums en quatre concerts somptueux le tout en DVD et en CD plus quelques bricoles pour agrémenter ce magnifique coffret. Les prestations du groupes sont bluffantes lors de ces quatre concerts filmés avec beaucoup d'attention pour un rendu idéal en DVD et un son parfait en CD.

Ils ont fait le maximum. Les fans jubilent et les autres sont admiratifs... Une grosse boîte (28x28 cm pour à peu près 5 cm d'épaisseur) avec une très belle illustration renferme un très soigné "digipack" géant sous forme de livre noir où la couverture en relief (un des quatres symboles de chaque album apparait dans chacun des coins) décorée avec un blason doré se déplie en première (un volet) et quatrième (deux volets) pour accéder aux quatre CD et aux cinq DVD, chacun portant le symbole correspondant évidement. Au milieu, une myriade de sublimes photos des quatre nuits... Sous le livre, au fond de la boîte, entre deux feuilles noires de carton et au milieu d'une petite plaque de mousse dense on trouve la libellule en métal couleur bronze d'environ 19 cm d'envergure et 14 cm de longueur, très réussie !Un excellent son pour les CD et d'excellentes vidéos pour les DVD... Un must... Seul bémol tout riquiqui, pas de sous-titres affichables pour les paroles pendant les morceaux. Mais, très franchement, on s'en fiche tellement ces concerts sont démentiels !!
