It worked well, but no grill marks through the mats

I purchased these because we live in an apartment and it never fails, we have a spill over during pretty much 80% of the meals we cook. Since we can't grill, I figured these would be perfect in the oven! I was VERY much correct. I actually LOVE making casserole dishes and made a tuna noodle casserole and placed one of these mats on the bottom rack to catch any spill over and they caught it perfectly. Didn't bend, melt, bow, nothing. It was perfect! I do wish they were a bit wider and longer. It would be nice to place one of these under the heating element in our oven and/or on the bottom rack so clean up is a lot easier on a regular basis.Clean up was a breeze. My youngest son does the clean up and he was surprised that all he pretty much had to do was rinse it with hot water and the food and water just rolled right off.I can't wait to try these at one of our friend or family member's houses while we're grilling out. This is a perfect addition to our backyard barbecue tools. During the summer months we grill at least four days a week. It's hard to grill things other than hotdogs and hamburgers though because they always stick to the grill or they seem to fall through the grate. When I saw this I knew I had to purchase it. I used it right away after receiving it and was very surprised by how easy it worked and also how easy the cleanup was after we grilled. It was nice to be able to grill some peppers, onions and skewers on the grill without having to worry about them falling through. Our food still had great char marks on it and had that delicious grilled flavor that we know and love. Overall I'm very happy with these grill mats and I recommend them. These BBQ Mats are a dream come true for easy clean up. They are perfect for camping, and I started using them indoors with my cast iron grill, and clean up has never been easier. I also like that you don't really need oil to cook most things, as they absolutely do not stick with these mats. I did notice that one some steak that an excessive amount of rub on them, there were some pretty significant char marks, and there was a bit of an charred taste, so don't make the same silly mistake I did of not paying attention to the temperature of your grill, just because your food won't stick doesn't mean it wont burn. However even the spots where there was was some charring where very easy to clean, all the char slid right off. It is also a good thing that you can get the grill marks on your food through the mats, it gives it that authentic grilled look to compliment the taste. The mats are also very flexible and very portable, a great addition to my kitchen tools. I received these at a discount in exchange for an honest review, however that did not affect my opinion of the product.

I was afraid to try these mats at first, I was surprised by how thin they were. I decided to try them with some hot dogs and I absolutely love it they didn't melt, they kept my food from falling in, all while still giving it that great BBQ taste that I love. I have now used them with steak, hot dogs, chicken and loose vegetables. I live in an apartment, so when I grill I have to use the grill at the park. I would end up spending a half an hour just scrubbing off who knows what from the grills. With these mats I don't have to worry about that, I know my food is being cooked on a clean surface. I received my RaonWare, Mr. Gourmet BBQ Mats with Prompt and Courteous service. I purchased these to use on my BBQ grill but because the mats are only rated at 525 degreesand my BBQ will not adjust the cooking temperature below about 700 degrees. The new Junk BBQ grill we bought on the lowest setting goes up to 700 degrees, as soon as you turn it on. It also has a big problem with the food sticking to the grill. I have used them in my oven and the y work great for anything you decide to cook on them, I have cooked cookies, chicken, and some steaks on them and they are great for that. I am just going to have to buy a better BBQ grill because I can not adjust the temperature on it at all. Even on what is suppose to be low it goes to 700 degrees. I just wasn't aware that the BBQ mats were rated at 525 degrees. If you have a BBQ grill that you can adjust the temperature on these Really do work Great ! They are a good quality item. MY BBQ grill is just a piece of junk and is going to get taken back. I would Highly Recommend this set of mats for anyone that does a lot of Barbecuing they really keep thing from sticking and keep your food more moist.
