Fantastic decision!
These are fantastic! Keeps everything surrounding my wall mounted tv nice and neat..here's some pros and cons:PROS:Keeps all cables neat.. No more cables hanging down!Very easy installationCONS:The part that sticks out of the back, kind of gets in the way.. But not terribly.. It's for mounting to a box.I personally did not mount these to a box.. I installed them behind the tv on the wall and I screwed the plate into the Sheetrock... Which is more than enough to handle the wall plate that will most likely not be touched again unless I change out the TV!I definitely highly recommend these if you are looking to get rid of the clutter that surrounds a wall mounted tv.. So happy I went with these wall plates!

Buy these!
These worked a lot better then the other ones I bough from Home Depot. I took out the ones I got from Home Depot and put these in. I still tie wrap the wires to the catch in the back so the connectors can hide and not fall down into the wall. The screws went into metal on the back plate so they work a lot better then just plastic.

Easy and cheap
Used this for running wires up to my newly mounted TV. About what you should expect, just keep in mind the gauge of your wires along with how many you need to run.I was able to fit 4 HDMI CL3 rated cables through this along with a single CAT6e cable with relative ease. The last 2 or 3 cables did require a bit of tugging at the top and feeding at the bottom but wasn't really an issue.

Good product, clean look- installation not as straightforward due to plastic box
This piece was relatively hard to find and provided the perfect function for me which was to snake an HDMI cable through the wall and have it neatly covered. the one comment i would make was that there is a plastic box behind the middle part that needs to go into the wall. This was unexpected for me. So basically you need to cut into the Sheetrock (roughly 2.5inch/4inch) to create a hole for that box to go into the wall so that the face plate will sit flush against the wall. This created some extra work but in the end was fine. I wish this piece would not have that box glued to the face so that there would be the option to remove it completely if you don't need it (which I didnt). Either way, face plate looks good and would use again if needed.

A great solution for hiding a cord
I have a picture light on a portrait and I hated seeing the cord hang down below it. I looked into battery operated picture lights but didn't like the idea of changing batteries all the time. I bought two of these and put one behind the picture, and one down below next to the outlet. I fed the cord though the wallplate behind the picture and and dropped the cord down to the other wallplate where I pulled out the cord and plugged in into the outlet next to it. Now the cord is completely hidden and I have the light on a timer in the outlet, so I never have to touch it.

Worked out perfect
I used this to replace a 1 inch hole in my wall which had the cable TV and two speaker wires. Using a small network wire frame as the cutout and backing, I was able to install this quickly. Hopefully the brushings will help keep out the cold air in the winter too. Overall it looks 1000% better on the wall!

Worked great to run some hidden AV / HDMI cables.
Worked great to run some hidden AV / HDMI cables. I did a wall mount TV. For now, I've got an HDMI Cable in there. In the future I could run whatever cable I want. Looks great.

A modernm clean solution to hiding your wall mounted TV cords
I recently bought a large TV to hang in my living room and wanted that WOW factor...so hiding the cords inside of the wall was a requirement! These wall fixtures do an absolutely fantastic job at allowing the cords in and out of the wall without looking unsightly. The description of this product is spot on, and installation is a snap! (Trust me, I'm not good with tools)Bottom line: If you're going to go through all of the trouble of mounting a TV, do yourself a favor and use these to hide your cords!
