Why does Garmin make such a unique charger cord? These work well; a nice secure connection.

It always helps to have an extra plug. They fit correctly and are a good length.

Chargers came nicely packaged and work as expected. Cannot speak to longevity since I just got them. I like having 2 extra, one for the car and one to have on reserve. I took my charger with me to the golf course…”just in case” since I forgot to fully charge before going. Well, of course I left it in the cart by mistake. I did find it but not until I went through many minutes of panicking LOL.

got these so I could have a cable at work and charge my watch there when needed so it would not die during the day if I forgot to charge at night. Cable charges just like the OEM that came in the box.

It doesn't do what it's supposed to and probably damages the watch -- avoid! The price and form of these cords were great. But when using the same charger as I've used with the Garmin factory cord that came with my Vivoactive 4, the charge rate is VERY slow. Usually it will completely charge in less than an hour. With these, it can sit for 6 hours and not even gain 10% charge. And the watch is always cool when charging with the Garmin cord. With these, it gets very hot, which means it's shortening the life of the battery.
