This is a fun and adorable read by the great Judy Blume. Bought this for my 8 yr old and we have a fun time reading it. Easy 57 page read with pictures.

A classic Judy Blume book.

You can’t go wrong with Judy Blume and this book proved just that. What a fun and sometimes silly story! An easy read that follows a kid that wants to rid himself of his freckles. This kept the kids engaged the whole way. Would recommend

I'm completely biased when it comes to this book. I read Freckle Juice when I was in the 3rd grade and loved it. As an adult, I didn't realize it was sooo short. If you don't know what this book is about, the synopsis is pretty straight forward. Andrew a boy in 2nd grade admires the freckles of a boy that sits in front of him. He really wants freckles as well. Susan a mean girl that is in his class swears she has a recipe to grow freckles. Well you have to read the rest of the story to find out what happens.5 stars to this adorable story.

We ordered this book for a homeschool project. Fun book and would buy again. On the easier side for my grade 3 student.

I love Judy Blume, and I loved this book as a kid. I ordered it to read to my almost-6-year-old. He found the story and the illustrations engaging. He's especially entertained by Blume's description of Andrew making the secret recipe, and he takes a dim view of Sharon's nascent con artist tactics! I've read it to him three times so far. It's far too advanced for him in terms of his current reading skills, but I pick out easy words for him to sound out and spell. No pressure, we're just here to enjoy the story. Start them on the Judy Blume early—you can't go wrong.
